"The Seahawks took a massive hit along their defensive line after losing outside linebacker/edge rusher Bruce Irvin to a season-ending ACL injury Sunday night. They played that game without defensive end Rasheem Green, who is dealing with a neck stinger and had yet to be medically cleared to practice as of Wednesday. Defensive tackle Jarran Reed (back) and defensive end Benson Mayowa (groin) didn't practice Wednesday." - BSPN

The Seahags are injury depleted and very banged up along the defensive line. I say our Cowboys should give them a heavy dose of our running attack with Zeke, Pollard and Dak. Plus, if the weather report is correct (calling for up to 80% chance of rain), this could play out to our Cowboys advantage.

Run at will against this Seahags injury depleted defensive line while mixing in some play-action, bootlegs and screens. Allow our offensive line to constantly push back and wear down the Seahags injured d-line, thus using up the clock and keeping Russell Wilson and their offense off the field. I say it's a perfect recipe to how to beat them at their place, especially without their 12th man crowd not being available due to covid restrictions.

Cowboys: 27
Seahags: 20

This game will come down to which offense can out score the other because Seattle’s defense is no longer the legion of boom and the Cowboys defense is the legion of gloom. We’ll put some points on the board, the game will come down to whether we can put up enough to pull the game out. Our offense is going to have to win games for us.

McCarthy is planning on being aggressive and scoring as much as it takes to overcome whatever Seattle does to us. That's an ambitious goal in anyone's ballpark, especially theirs. It should help our cause that the home crowd won't be attending, though. Let the chips fall where they may and let's hope we've done enough at game's end to pull this thing out in our favor. It will require maybe the best game we'll play all year. Balls to the wall, guys!
Godspeed to our Cowboys!

Doable. I don't expect three fumbles again this week. If offense plays relatively turnover free, we can score as Seattle's D is not what they used to be. There's no 12th man advantage. We can win in a shoot out.
Yeah..

12th man is missing.

Are they going to seat any fans like we did in ATT?

I hear ya.

So no fans allowed Game time?

I think that made a clear advantage that we had 21,000 souls in their seats.

And no waiting in the restrooms.

Clearly worth 3 pts in Vegas.

Yes fellas it's definitely doable!!! We just need to run uptempo and nobody can stop us.. The minute we slow down is when we run into problems but i definitely feel we have enough to beat the Hawks. History has shown we have always been in every game that we've lost against them so I am positive this one will be closer then the nay sayers think.

We all dream that same dream.

And about running that 'no huddle' offense..

that may prove very important.

Wonder if it is really a real asset or if Atlanta was just too unprepared to deal with it early in the season?

Hmmmm..

Watched them play this weekend as many of you guys did.

Wilson looks unstoppable.

Their receivers, Lockett especially is another Ridley for us.

Their defense looked good.

They are a very tough out at home.

So this looks like another Mission Impossible.

Can Moore and McCarthy pull another rabbit out of our hat?

Suggestions?

Through the years I cant recall how many times the Cowboys have won unwinnable games, but its about as many as the times they blew unloseable games.

Its a tall order, but yeah its definitely possible.

We’re more than likely going to have to air it out to stay in the game and have a chance to win it. Seattle has been stuffing the run and will be bent on stopping Zeke.

Probably so, but they've only stuffed Todd Gurley who Im not sure is really Todd Gurley anymore and the unimpressive backfield in New England. Zeke is another animal. Their overall defense won't be the same without Bruce Irvin either.

Zeke is another animal and although he’s played very well he has yet to have a 100 yard game this season and he’s playing behind a makeshift OL. Even if we’re able to run the ball well we may have to get away from it if Russell Wilson continues to stay hot. Wilson has been playing lights out and if we have to play catch up it’s going to have to be through the air. Our wide receivers are one of our biggest strengths.

I really believe the game will come down to a passing duel between Wilson and Dak unless Seattle is able to gash us with the run all day keeping our offense off the field. Ideally both teams would like to control the ball if possible.

Would be like us to win this type of game and lose to a winless team later in the season.

Seattle is a tall order. I'm on the fence for this one. I want to say doable but the Cowboys have not shown me they can beat a high caliber team yet. So the answer is naw.
I agree (unfortunately). Third down defense is horrible; no pressure, Jaylon is easily manipulated. The Rams basically run misdirection (sandlot) and he falls for it all the time. He's better attacking than reacting. Wilson will take advantage of that and easily connect on big plays. Dallas is not disciplined at all.
Metcalf will go deep several times I'm sure for big yards and the onus will be on Dak to keep up.

No matter how you break this game down it’s a very unfavorable matchup for our defense going up against the hottest QB in the league. Even if we’re able to put a little pressure on Wilson he’ll just Houdini his way outside the pocket where he’s even more dangerous.

Seattle is a better team right now than Dallas.
But lesser teams win every week.
It is probably tougher to beat ATL with a 3 turnover against margin than to beat SEA if they break even in turnovers.

Lin is SEA - 4.5 so yea tough one to pull out but SEA gives us boatloads of yards and if those are converted to points DAL will be in this game at the end.
