I do. I am getting internet hooked up, but at least I know I have a temporary solution until then
That's good, because using your phone as a hotspot just devours data. I did it once before I got unlimited data, and it wasn't long before I realized that would have been really expensive! Lol

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to all who stopped in to visit today.

Honest question, what would we all do without this thread? I wonder sometimes. I mean, I don't post every single day but I usually, at least, read the posts. It just makes me feel better.

So, something interesting the other day. My Wife cooked dinner, Green Chile Enchiladas, and I come in from the Garage. It's maybe 8 and I see my Wife sitting, eating a bowl of Salad and not a Salad bowl, a big bowl. So I ask here, what are you doing? She looks up at me with this straight up dirty look, and doesn't say anything. I ask here again. She finally says to me, "The Enchiladas came out terrible! Dry, dry, dry, so I'm eating Salad for dinner." Now, my Wife almost never makes anything that is not top shelf. So occasionally she might throw a wild pitch and I guess this is one of those times. I'm not a big fan of Green Chile Enchiladas but even so, they are usually really, really good. Everybody likes them so, I was surprised. Last night, I'm watching the Yanks/Jays debacle and she walks up with 4 containers, in her arms all the way to her chin. I ask her, whatcha got there? She say, "The Enchiladas", she informs me that she is taking them over to our youngest Son, who has a broken leg and has no choice but to eat them. LOL......... I guess that'll learn him to bust his leg!

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, I hope you are all doing well today. Does anybody have a good story to tell? I feel like listening to a funny story or two.

Everybody, keep up the good fight! It's Thursday and closer to the end of the day then the beginning so you know what that means...... Friday is almost upon us!

Gonna leave you with this little tune for a Thursday Afternoon. This is one of the greatest Singer Song Writers I've ever seen or heard. This is Jim Croce - I've Got A Name

Like the pine trees linin' the windin' road.

Man, that guy could write songs! Dang shame he never got to see how much people loved them.

No doubt. When my daughter and son-in-law got me this phone they put me on their phone plan too so it’s saving me money also... like $25/mo. Unlimited talk, text and web. I paid them for a full year so I’m good till my next bday:)

Really is RW. It's funny, he was talking on an interview one time, about how he wrote songs. Said he wrote them off life experience and/or people he knew. Anyhow, he was talking about a guy he was at Ft. Dix with, and he's just talking. He says that this guy was a big Dude that wasn't used to receiving instruction, shall we say. Maybe this dude was also not the sharpest tool in the old box right, so he says that the guy just decided he didn't like the Army Life anymore so he goes AWOL but, he comes back after 30 days or so to collect a check. LOL........

How many guys like that have I known? So anyway, that's the guy who he wrote LeRoy Brown after. I think there is a youtube on it.

I wonder what kind of song he'd have written if he'd met us.

Love the song selections. After making the drive to Montana last week and, with another coming up next week, I might suggest Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" or, perhaps, Talking Heads', "The Road to Nowhere" are very appropriate. The cats can still do backup. Ha!!

I don't know what the weather is like in your area, but ours has been a rollercoaster. An early start to winter with snow in mid-September was followed by a return to summer and then, all of a sudden, the trees have turned a beautiful blend of yellow, gold and copper. Outstanding!!

I am not one prone to conspiracy theories, but after completing change of address forms and cancelling utilities in our CO home, we suddenly started receiving a new round of annoying calls regarding auto insurance renewal. A couple of robo calls even stated, "with your upcoming move, now would be a good time...". HOW DO THEY KNOW THIS???

There should be a special place in he!! For robo-calls

Since X girl teamed me up with Dwight, you're gonna be "A Thousand Miles from Nowhere".
