Let’s admit something about Schultz

Well, I know a lot of people are in a great mood over the Cowboys and Shultz but guys, don't get too tilted on this stuff. The biggest part of playing TE in the NFL is staying healthy. It's not just production. Here's the truth, Falcons have a poor pass defense and they weren't really bringing their safeties down to lay the wood. They were staying back in coverage for a lot of that game. Seattle is piss poor in coverage as well. I don't expect them to really do a lot against us either. Shultz could easily have a good game again. I hope he does. But against some of the better teams, I don't think we are going to see that production. More importantly, health is pretty key because all we have outside of him is Bell and he's not a receiving threat at all.
I think everyone knows that what happened with Schultz Sunday doesn't guarantee the same thing going forward, and I doubt anyone really expects that kind of production game in and game out. Hell, over a 16 game season, what Schultz did was on a pace for 1,405 yards and 16 TD's, and nobody is expecting that. But I think Sunday at least gives us reason to hope we have found a solid contributor at the position.

What I see is Schultz lowering his head to make helmet to helmet contact. Flag

He punched at the Ball and his forearm may have caught the facemask but not his hand. His hand went through cleanly.

It was the punch that caused the fumble. The rest of the contact may have shook Jarwin up but his hand went cleanly through to pop the ball.

It may have been that Jarwin made facemask to forearm contact. But that happens when you lower your head. Any call should have went against schultz imo

but he can surpass what witten and Jarwin of the last few years, what 600-700 yards 3-4 tds? if he does that that actually a plus..we have far too many oher balls to go around with AC, Ceedee, Gallup, Zeke, and pollard.. TE was never goig to be a high targeted position..

Shultz absolutely lead with the crown of his helmet. There is no question about that.

Here's the video. To me it looks like a punch landed. However, Shultz actually dips his head into it. The punch glances off and actually hits Shultz' forearm which jars the ball loose. First video is the replay. The second video is the replay but I freeze frame it just after where I think the punch lands and then continue the video.

It's a hard angle, but it does look like his head gets hit just before it makes contact with the shoulder pads. From this angle I'd say probably got punched, but not enough to call it from here.

Schultz shoulda got flagged for the lowering of the helmet. It was rinky dink contact. The ball was coming out Regardless. It was a Clean play from the D imo. Jarwin lowered his head into it. Lol.

Case Closed.

Now How about posting film of Daks fumble. I wanna see his reaction to not disengaging and going up the field.

Thats what i thought I saw but i know hes a scrub and Dak is usually more clutch. So Im biased. Lmao. Thats what 4 tds against the hapless Giants will do for ya over a couple of years. Lmao.

Yall be doing some koolaide drinking on here and Rogers owns or running the Koolaide stand. Lmao. Hes stuck in the 70's -80s and 90's before the rbs and Slot wrs became a part of the Passing Era. Witten played past his era by 6-7 years imo.

This scheme is trash outside of our division of scrub teams

I dont care if he turns into witten in his prime. The great offense tes gonna outscore ya rinky dink 4 tds a year and against great teams also.

We'll be crying because of the blunders again on monday. Its ok. I' ll still be a shoulder to cry on. Lmao.

Now get POLLARD AND BROWN READY TO TAKE THIS OFFENSE TO A NEW LEVEL!!!!

I got my kids up for ransom against anybody that wants to pitch in a dollar donation that we got two mistake prone tes as starting every snap players. Ha ha ha.

Throw a tuna in a pool of sharks is the difference between kelce and anything weve had in 7 years. Our guys are the tunas. Lol

Yall quit trying to emulate 82 in his prime. It wasnt a good scheme once Wittens big play potential flatlined. Same w Gates who was a better receiver. imo

Who are you talking to? Nobody here can emulate 82 in his prime, or even out of it, so are you expecting Schultz to read this? If so, there are worse things for an NFL TE to emulate.

That one lonely td in 16 games got this team to 8-8. We were 2-0 against the giants and skins until the te core ran into an iceberg like they always do. Lol.

How many tds this so called serviceable te core put up the last 16 games playing 127% of the snaps Rogers?

Was that their hot streak against the giants and the skins? Ha ha ha.

Last time I checked their #'s werent significant. Just some stats in meaningless games. Everybody else went down the tubes trying to overcome that 127% of non scoring production. Lol.

He looks athletic and sure-handed. Can't imagine Jarwin would have done anything more than Schultz is.
My thoughts as well, you dont make plays like that in this league on a whim.
I dont care that it was against the Falcons, he made some grabs that were well above is pre judged grade.
Good for Schulltz and good for this team in need of a TE.
He stepped up and is deserving of more looks.
If Dak trusts him, than thats good enough to merit more time, more looks.

Then why arent we rotating if hes not that guy? Isnt that what were talking about. Im arguing alot more Te rotation and youre arguing that the Slot wrs and 2nd rb is not worthy and that these tes are SERVICEABLE.

THAT WORD MAKES ME WANT TO BLOW CHUNKS. A SERVICEABLE TE CORE WHO IS ARE SKILLED PLAYERS THAT PLAYS 127% OF THE SNAPS. LMAO

I THINK POLLARD AND BROWN ARE BETTER THAN SCHULTS AND BELL

WAY WAY WAY BETTER SKILLED PLAYERS. IT MAKES NO SENSE NOT TO PUT THE BEST 6 SKILLED PLAYERS ON THE FIELD THAT WE CAN SOMETIMES.

IMO THE FB IS MORE DYNAMIC AND SCHULTZ AND BELL FINISH IN LAST PLACE Big play and scoring ability

Again a lot of babble that doesn’t answer the question I asked. You have a unique talent for quoting people and rambling on and on without regard for what you quoted.

By the way, the juvenile capitalizing doesn’t make what you write any more relevant to what you quote.

I had Schultz slated to start by the beginning of October.
I wrongly assumed Jarwin could play into his fourth game
without injury.

The head moves prior to the helmets colliding or him hitting shoulder pads. I wish I could post a video so everyone can see. I am literally dumbfounded by this.

I have a copy of the broadcast of the game and have watched this so many times now and I have not seen a punch to the head at ANY time. Again if this phantom punch to the head was really there at least ONE of the many articles written about this game and mentioning that fumble would have said hey there was actually a punch to the head but there isn't any of that. All there is, is a couple of fans that want so bad to claim a blown call by the refs missing that phantom punch to the head when there actually never was.

All you're doing is willing yourself into seeing a punch to the head for whatever reason. All there is, is Schultz's face mask hitting the edge of the shoulder pads as the fist actually hits the ball.
