The guy is just not funny and surprised he’s been on the air this long. He’s terrible. Literally his whole show is bashing....well you know who...

It's interesting Romo's is hardly mentioned for his accomplishments as a Cowboy QB. In fact, you guess the impression he's detached himself from the team as a former player. In other words, when I see or hear his name, I respect his legacy but I'm not feeling him like other former Cowboy players.

I don't think Tony has detached himself from the Cowboys. He just never really got attached to Cowboys history. Accomplishments really aren't there during the Romo years compared to other Cowboys QBs.

Other legitimate Dallas QBs all went at least to Conference Championships going back to Meredith. But not Tony. And not Dak yet.

Had a couple of contender years with Tony in 2007 and 2014, but no sustained period of strength. Could argue that 2006-2009, the team that Parcells built, was a period of strength. But Tony was still learning. Great offense around him in 2006, but he erratic. 2007-2009, Jerry limited the team at WR. And Tony was still erratic.

Career shortened and limited by spending years on the bench, injury, and Jerry making poor moves. Almost Antonio.

I wish they had given Tony a last chance in 2016. He was MVP level in 2014. Good chance he could have been in 2016 too, with the most dominant run game and oline he would have ever had.

But no. Almost Antonio didn't get that last chance. At most, he'll be remembered as a "what might have been" kind of Dallas QB. By those who watched him. Those who didn't watch him will not know him at all as those Cowboy years just won't be relived by future fans.

Last great host was Johnny Carson. I can’t stand any of them these days.
Both takes even as jokes are stupid. I guess there were no good QB’s after Roger...
Tv nonsense. Stuff getting into people taking sides

It's not getting anyone with a brain or a sense of humor to take sides. They're jokes, nothing more.

You're kidding, right? The writer made it very clear that it was just banter, going so far as to say the when Romo told him he was no Carson, Colbert laughed and said, "I love it!"

I skipped over it pretty quickly, so I guess I missed the banter part. Glad to hear it wasn't really anything too serious, though.

The Colbert report was comedic gold. He modeled himself after Oreilly. Used to refer to bill as poppa bear all the time. I think it was part of the deal with cbs that he toned down the character a lot. Haven’t really seen much of him since moving to cbs but it’s definitely cool to see he still gets his targets riled up. Unless he’s just remembered for his past success. Which if I’m being honest is pretty on brand for a bunch of cowboy fans

I love Romo and am very happy he is having such a successful post nfl career....classy guy and I’m glad we had him for a decade, wish he would have gotten the big one but he made it fun for all of us for a long time.

Never forget the Dez "non-catch" game watching Romo post game, surrounded by family just balling his eyes out that another opportunity slipped through his fingers. He had his moments of infuriating me, but he was a hell of a qb who simply could not catch a break. One great thing about Tony compared to some of the idiots we have now who celebrate when down 3 tds is you always knew his desire to win. #hotboyz.

Colbert’s humor is smart. His subject matter is on point.

This triggers some of the more sensitive among us. Bless your hearts. Safe space time?;)

He's a turd that reads what his professional writers give him. The clown is unoriginal and can't even be talked about with the Carsons and Lettermans.
He appeals to the bottom feeders.

If you don’t think that Carson and Letterman had professional writers then you’ve got your head buried in the sand.
