He’s nothing like Romo. Romo had Garrett as a play-caller until 2013 and wasn’t even allowed in early game planning meetings by the “anointed” one, until he could make contract demands. Garrett is already getting bashed by the Giants for his inept play-calling and zero ability to field a RG. Dak is seeing one-safety, man all day because of Zeke and his homers think this is Garrett’s playbook, while Garrett’s offense was pretty much a zero play-action playbook and Romo was pretty much throwing out a traditional 5-7 step drop. One-read Dak stares down his WRs all day and any even practice well, which explains why he consistently can’t hit his WRs in stride.

If Romo had this roster and Moore with him, defenses would have no idea what to do. You can’t stack the box and if you go zone, Zeke is having a field day.

The fact Garrett is now calling plays with the Giants, with his 32nd ranked rushing attack and lack of TOP offense is a testimony to how great Romo was and how much Jerry ruined his career and these clowns made a mistake by letting him go.

The guy is down 7 less than a minute and he throwing 5 yard passes.

Yep.. See what happens when Seattle just rushed three and no longer bother with Zeke.. Dak no longer had one safety and all that man coverage that has afforded him all that stat padding in losing causes to work with..

The defense held when Dak was putting the Cowboys down three scores. Then “Desperate” Dak, as he’s been doing the last two years, let’s the ball fly on his first read...

Aikman without a running game (Zeke a no show today). Despite many things going wrong but when it counts for whatever reason he ends up on the losing end

Aikman against these looks and these DB rules would put up six hundred yards. 40% of Dak’s throws during Aikman’s era would have led to Cooper getting speared, when it was legal..

The RG did what is was supposed to, give Dak the looks any average QB could exploit. The fact you keep comparing this guy to Aikman and blaming Zeke all the time for this mediocre scrub, who takes one week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3 is hilarious..

Again i see all the greatest quarterbacks taking multiple deep shots down the field per game. Dak doesn't even look sometimes. I saw russell wilson do this at least once per drive today.

People think its hate on dak. Dak played well enough to win if we had a better team around him. My question has always been. If he can't win now, what is he going to do when we sign him for 40 plus mil? That is going to several hurt our ability to sign players, defenders. Which we can see we desperately need.

If your getting 40 plus million you need to impact the game beyond stats. I'm not sure he does that.

And Zeke stat padded 14 carries for 34 yards. And stat padded 3 receptions for zero yards. If this was Emmitt, you wouldn't say zip about it. Nah.

Yes Zeke and special teams was bad but we were up 31-30. Russ drives them down the field. We have the ball over midfield with 2 timeouts. We had our chances.
That's what I was thinking. If Wilson has the ball at midfield with 2 timeouts and 50 seconds, I'd be fairly certain he'd score.

And yet, this is a PASSING era, where the DB can’t touch anybody. Teams don’t need top flight RBs to win, but we have the fortune to have the best in the game, still forcing defenses to adjust and this clown scrubs consistently. He’s throwing Checkdowns when defenses are rushing three and he has all the time in the world. In his one seven step drop, he double clutched it and committed a bone-headed fumble against man coverage.

You defend Dak against Aikman, because he had a better completion percentage. Your so lost in this Dak-mania, by your logic he’s better than Marino and Elway, because of the stats. Dak was seeing looks that these guys would easily throw over 500 yards.

Embarrassing that you trash a 3 time Sb winner for this inept clown, based on completion percentages that even the “great” Goff beats..

What hilarious to me is the exact same people defending and lauding Prescott are the same ones that hated on Romo for throwing just 1 int. Hypocrisy at its finest

If your looking to define his career in one game this is the perfect example plays great despite many things going wrong but when it counts for whatever reason he ends up on the losing end.

“Whatever reason” is the part you need to work on.

NFL has essentially become college football, with the way the rules have catered to open up offense to make it more palatable to the general masses. Manning with his number 1 ranked offense in the Broncos looked like absolute trash against the Legion of Boom, which was essentially the closest defense as far as secondary play, including physicality, to the 90s teams.

Anybody that compares Dak to guys like Aikman based on completion percentage have no clue what they are talking about. Dak has led WRs into DBs that would have literally taken their heads off in that era.
