Who else thinks it’s the Cowboys culture that causes this team so many problems. Same problems year in and year out. I think players come into Dallas where there is not as much accountability as other teams and take things more lackadaisically and don’t work as hard and why they always make none head mistakes and penalties.

Yes. I've said this many times. McCarthy inherited a team devoid of talent. Couple that with Garrett's lack of coaching we have what's probably a mess of a team.

It’s definitely the culture, but unfortunately, we can’t fire Jerry Jones and his son, so they’re here to stay. Hopefully one day, we’ll go all the way, even with their meddling and Hollywood, spoiled baby culture.

The biggest problem with this franchise is not the coach, qb, defense. Its the culture that the owner has created.

3 different coaches since Parcells left, and we still see an undisciplined stupid football team

Dallas = Entertainment business
Seattle, S.F, Patriots, etc = foootball business

Jerry makes money hand over fist so why change the program. Dallas will never change until we let go of the entertainment mind set

The Cowboys have a culture of stupidity. Year after year they play sloppy and dumb. The coaching staff has changed which narrows it down to the players being *******es.

I have been saying this for years, but people call me a troll.
Why is it hard to accept that we are a mediocre team.
We are no longer used to winning
We are no longer a model franchise
We are no longer a dominant force in the nfl
And slowly but surely,, we celebrate petty wins
We are an average team

You speak the truth again. Jerry loves being #1 god in Dallas. See Jerry when you have a problem is the problem.

Guys..

The problem is the owner/GM.

Look at the roster and the cap balance.

There is no balance.

The offence takes up twice the cap of the defense.

We cobble the defense from bargain players or draft picks. The more draft picks on defense the better becuz they get 4 years out of the player at a cheap cap hit.

Look at Byron Jones. Look at the 2 LBers with the Chiefs that started for us. Once they did their rookie contracts we let them go and did the same thing again.

There was no money to keep them because the Jones wanted offense. Now we have guys like Eldon Smith out playing guys 5-7 years younger than his competition.

And like Jones and Quinn from last year they will not be signed becuz why?

The Jones will not pay for defense.

Could you imagine how good the defense would be with those players and not just let them walk.?

So while I seriously doubt anything is going to change at least knowing the root of the problems is a needed piece of the puzzle.

But I think must of us guessed this along time ago.

I’d like to see this team healthy before I make an assessment of how good or bad they are. The defensive backs flat out stink but we knew that going into this season. A healthy Tyron and La’el would’ve won us that game yesterday, I think we’re a better team than Seattle.

I agree with some of what you're saying here, but i also agree the culture around the cowboys as been since Jerry came on board about making money. Team sees that and they try and do the same thing, making their brand working all offseason on Okois tripple Zero or Glasses line or clothing line or commercials. now im not against them doing these things but if Parcells was here he'd be on the phone busting peoples butts. This is 1st year with MM and i think he's more BP than JG so lets give him time to get a hold of the players lay down the laws and change the culture. Or he will just give up in a couple of years and quit.

Can you imagine Pollard making the mistake that he did and still seeing the field on returns on the Patriots? Now look at our teams response of us still going to trot him out there and that's one of the huge 'culture' problems. Instead of playing the guy at a role he excels in, which is actually running the ball, we're putting him in a position of failure and we're making a commitment to sticking to that role. Misuse of players and no real accountability is key here in Dallas.

because our team is too soft and it always has been. Dallas is that one snobby kid in elementary school that demands everything go their way. And that’s why they’re losers.
