I would assume it’s the COVID thing no?
If he’d go vísit them he’d just have to follow the covid rules places for visiting players. Not put on hold. Unless the whole titans and Vikings thing has anything to do, & God giving reasons to help the Cowboys realize they’re messing up lol.

What would earl have done to fix our CORNERS getting burned? What would Earl have done about DK Metcalf mutant looking *** going all the way across the field on a deep route? Earl wouldve broke up the pass? Dont tell me the guy who was freelancing in Baltimore is going to line everyone in the secondary up. lol Earl exposed himself in Baltimore.

I was initially against the move but man we're desperate. Earl will give up plays but he damn well will MAKE his share of plays. These current safeties are allergic to the ball.

Why does Jerry speak in stroke English? Everytime I read what he says, I can’t decipher it. Jerry English might be the new Latin. We need to hire some people to decipher this ancient language.
He's in a constant state of fish-tailing.

Who cares, this secondary is far from being one player away from being good. The headache isn’t worth it.

But knowing Jerry, the hype train has stalled and this would jump start it back into SB mania.

What ET could do to improve this secondary would be immeasurable. He has seen every route combination there is, so many times, at game speed. There is no way he gets burned like Woods looking into the backfield as Lockett runs by him. Or doesn’t know that Diggs is passing off Metcalf/Lockett to him. Also, the anticipation he has, borne of his experience, produces turnovers... I make no judgment about him as a teammate or locker room “cancer”, but on a one year, low guaranteed money deal, you HAVE to make this move.

I’ve been against signing him all along, but now I think he is what we need in the secondary.
He’s obviously not the player he was, but his experience would be priceless... he can organise and make sure everyone knows their assignments.
That said, I don’t think there’s much chance we go for him.

That's not Earl Thomas. It never was Earl Thomas. Thomas is a free-lancer who makes plays, at least he used to make plays. Chancellor was the organizer.

One frustration the Ravens had - which can be found in multiple sources - was Earl not sticking with his assignments, taking chances and hurting the defense.

He may not have. But he also damn sure wouldnt have gotten burned twice over the top of the entire defense. Woods was supposed to cover Lockett on that first TD, got caught flat footed and the rest is history. Say what you want about Earl. He was ELITE in coverage last season.

Unless were bringing the Ravens d coordinator here Earl wont matter. go look at the Seattle/Ravens game last year. They were bringing the house at Wilson while we sat back and did nothing.

I just dont see it with this team and this d coordinator. If he freelanced with a decorated defense/culture like Baltimore what the hell do you think he'll do with Mike Nolan? We dont have the structure to get the best out of Earl Thomas. It would be a waste of time.

I have to and still am but I find it unlikely he fixes things he's not a leader Kam was that person. See earlier posted article. That said I am not as against it as i was before Sunday

I hear you. But Thomas has more football instincts in his left pinky than the current safeties combined. That alone would make a noticeable difference.I mean we are at rock bottom right now. That can not be overstated. I never thought it could get this bad.

You wont get me saying Darian Thompson is anywhere close to Earl Thomas. They do it or dont, it doesnt matter to me. All I'm saying.
