What I learned from Cleveland at Dallas today

Cleveland played team football. Played well on both sides of the ball.
Dallas played garbage football, and garbage time points and stats do not mean squat. The Cowboys players are scared to tackle, scared to block and scared to take a hit. A bunch of pansies.

Zeke sucks for fumbling.
Dak sucks for 2 turnovers.
McCarthy sucks for that stupid squib kick.
Nolan sucks all around.
The o-line sucks.
The entire defense sucks.
Everything sucks on this team with very few exceptions, even the water boy sucks I bet.

Technically, the team should be 0-4. Dallas will be in the running for 1st pick in the draft next year along with the Jets and possibly the Texans.

Yes but the offense will be ranked #1.

Dak is great.

I don't think you "learned" much of anything. :muttley:

Dak brought the team back within 3 points with over 3 minutes to play. That's only "garbage time" because the defense gave it away two plays later.

Dak's 2 turnovers were a blindside hit because someone thought Steele on Garrett with no help was a good idea. The second one came when Coop stopped his route.

The defense is on pace to break the NFL record for TD passes allowed in a season and the Browns rushed for over 300 yards. Stupid Dak.

Yea, garbage time sandlot football. Yes we came back, then came the lovely squib kick, that turned out well. Next play a 50 yard touch down run, oh boy! Then we get close to the end-zone and good old Dak throws a pick. Man oh Man, this team is going places.

Y'all guys can't claim garbage time stats and then turn around and say Dak lost the game with the pick at the end. It's one or the other.

Let's face it. It wasn't until Cleveland took their foot off the throttle to coast, that Dak and the Cowboys were able to "mount" a near comeback.

Then they decided to run it 50 yards for a touchdown and put these panzies back into their place.

Thanks for the game summary. Its about what I figured would happen. "Almost, coulda, woulda, always one play away". I turned the TV off and did some housework.

I was reminded that I was so glad I sold my PSL's in 2016, felt like I hit the lotto for all the $$$$ I have been saving.

The only blame goes to Jerry Jones for 25 years of the same futility.

The bottom line is the Cowboys' offense is going to have a long year trying to outscore their own defense; and the task will be made harder without La'el Collins and (I know he retired in March) Travis Frederick on the o-line.

Of course, we could take the glass half full approach and say this team was a bogus PI call on Michael Gallup against the Rams and an endzone pick at Seattle shy of being 3-1 right now.

But the fact is this could be the worst defense the Cowboys have ever fielded. The slight ray of hope is the delusion getting players like Leighton Vander Esch, Chidobe Awuzie, Anthony Brown, and Randy Gregory back at some point will help. But Mike Nolan should not hold a DC job in this league.
