It would appear that the defense is the issue, but

When your Defense stinks, turning the ball over makes it even worse...

Seems Dak wakes up in the fourth Quarter...

Nobody is defending the D but you guys refuse, absolutely refuse, to put any stink on an offence that turns the ball over twice allowing Cleveland to have one very short field TD possession and one short field TD possession. An offence which put up 200+ yards in the first, with 14 points, and in the fourth with over 200+ yards and 24 points. Yet the same offensive group vs the same group disappears for two full quarters, not even a FG attempt, from Greg the Leg. All wer'e saying is that, at some point during this game both D and Offence stunk it up.
oh, on the contrary....there is plenty of stink going around. but the biggest, most historic stink is on the defense. did the offense play bad in 2nd and 3rd quarter...yes. but they woke up in the 4th. minimally if nothing else they have/had the ability to wake up and score and make a game of it. doesn't matter if its late in the game or not.

the defense doesnot, has not shown any ability what so ever to do anything positive or ability to wake up anytime at all. and I refuse to accept the fact that the loss yesterday had anything to do but with the defense. 49 points. its not offenses fault. 300 yards rushing. that's not offenses fault. you can't say the defense gave up 300 yards because offense didn't score in 2nd and 3rd quarter. you can't say the defense gave up 49 points because the offense didn't score in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. you are trying to place the onus of wins on offense and offense only, and defense has zero culpability.

now, if you want to go back to seattle or rams game and criticize the offense, then yes, I can sit here and debate those merits with you and you would be right on a few points.

and I asked you a question. you dismiss the FACT the offense put up 200+ yards in the first quarter.... so do you prefer two 100 yard quarters? vs. a 200 yard quarter and a 40 yard quarter? why do you ignore the FACT the offense put up 14 points and 200 yards in the first quarter. isn't that awsome and historic onto itself?

and the offensive group that as you said disappeared in 2nd and 3rd quarter, showed up historically in 4th. I yet to hear you say, that offense did great in that quarter...instead you diminish the great performance and instead you say the 4th quarter doesn't count...and yet to explain why 4th quarter doesn't count. why doesn't the 4th quarter count?

and I have yet to hear you say, defense didn't show up in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarter...I settle for them showing up in one quarter. you argue offense didn't show up in 2nd and 3rd. but what about defense showing up at all?

and you are so desperately trying to get anyone to say offense was bad, so to achieve what? you haven't stated why you so vehemently and consistently attacking the offense, the ONLY unit who has shown any semblance of any ability...why the constant attacks on the offense?

but instead choose to cherry pick two quarters, and shift the blame of a historically bad defense onto the offense? why?

is this your way of trying to shift blame to Dak? is that the hidden agenda here? come clean.

and you can not, absolutely, irrevocably, undeniably can not dismiss the fact that we scored 38 points. made it a 3 point game with 4 minutes to go....you so hard trying to avoid that discussion. when did it not matter when you are within 3 points with 4 minutes to go? answer that.... does it not matter that you have plenty of time on the clock and within 3 points with the momentum. when was that a "non important factor".....

sorry, you cannot say “ that is more than enough to win games” - two turnovers that lead to a 14 point swing along with momentum. Not to mention taking a bad defense and adding more stress by making them defensed a short field,

There isn’t a field long enough.

You can want that to be the real score but over here in reality, all the Cowboys needed was one stop to have a real shot to win the game at the end.
Coulda woulda shoulda is not the real world. That’s fantasy land. The game was over at 41-14 and there’s probably not an NFL team in the league that’s going to allow you to come back from down 4 TDs in the 4th.

although that has happened in the past, its been rare...but no team has ever won a game giving up 250 yards rushing.

And yet that is exactly what happened barring one defensive stop which the Cowboys defense proved incapable of doing.

DDS must be truly strong in those that can see a 49-38 score and go "yep offense did not do its job today". I want to know what happens in a game where the offense only puts up 24 (aka a decent offensive performance by most metrics), because if 38 is not enough then a decent day by normal standards will cause heads to explode.
