I fractured mine Wakeboarding both times. One of those times I had my buddies duct tape my upper arm to my body so that I could keep boarding the rest of the weekend...
that exactly how i did it LOL i was at a cable park and did flip off a kicker and the ramp corner hit me right in the back between my vest arm opening..hurt like hell but i finished the day because i thought it was JUST A BRUISE, realized a few days later when i sneezed and it dropped me to my knees it was worse then a bruise..

been wakeboarding most of my adult life , still doing inverts behind the boat at 50 lol ive had many surgeries and injuries' so i speak from experience..

I want him to back back and prove he can finish the season without getting hurt. If he cant im drafting a guy in round 2 (round 1 if Parsons is available) and trading him

With two back to back winnable home games coming up and a trip to Washington after, no need to rush LVE back now. Get him fully ready for the Philly and Pitt games before the bye week.

I think we learned with Romo that rushing back from a collarbone is a bad idea.
Yeah, I can't help to think about what happened in 2015. Sad part is that we couldnt wait any longer for Romo to return then, and truly we cant wait any longer for LVE to return, based on our current defensive state.

what was LVEs actual injurys and surgery? was plate and screws put in? anyone that thinks without a full medical release and trainers say hes ready, are more of the issue in this zone..drama queens making assumptions about players and coaches..
Welcome to the court of public uninformed opinions where all matters, including our team, are immediately judged upon and any intricate details from professionals behind the scenes are completely excluded. The issue isn't in just this forum, it's everywhere

Oh thank goodness..

Now where is Lee and how can we phase Jaylon out?
This team needs a brutally honest evaluation of who their best players are right now and getting them on the field in a position to succeed.

If, and I realize the magnitude of this IF, LVE and Lee are healthy, along with Thomas, and hopefully some more snaps for Bernard and/or Gifford...I'm going to have a hard time with Smith being on the field at all.

SOMEONE has to see how bad he is, and SOMEONE needs to have the stones to tell Jerry that his big investment isnt among the 3-4 best LBs on the team.

That all said....I PROMISE everyone that's not how it will go. Jerry will demand that he play because he will magically turn everything around

That's Jerry's best plan. Denial.

Very different situations. Younger guys are going to heal up a bit more quickly. There have been players who came back after four weeks without issue. Doubt he plays Sunday because it is the Giants though.

Guys, this is fools gold. You can’t depend on an injury prone player like this. However many games he comes back for the next injury is just waiting to happen. It may be days or weeks or even months but it will happen. And the one after that. And the one after that. After all, Jerry loves to draft injury prone players. It’s like chasing the ghost of Sean Lee: how many seasons did we get our hopes up when he was playing great only to see the glass break again. Save your energy for new Dak threads...lol.

Best to keep LVE out until after the bye week.
It is a 6 to 8 week healing process. It has been not even 4 weeks yet.
6 puts him back for the Commanders possibly, but to me still too soon. Then they have the Eagles and Steelers, then the bye week. Play him at the Vikings, that is 10 weeks.
Should be safe then.

But if they want him back, target the Steelers and limit his snaps.

I think Tyron pulls a Fredbeard and calls it quits after this year.
Agreed. Tyron is a smart guy, if he has lingering head/neck issues all year he probably calls it quits.

He already made first team all decade (at a premier position it's a guaranteed path to Canton) and he knows this team is trending towards rebuilding. I don't think he risks his long term health
