Told ya two weeks ago don't be surprised if this team starts tanking to get that number 1 spot in 2 weeks time both OT's are headed for season ending trips. We've sent away proven vets for unproven, undisciplined players in the secondary, oh and our players we've paid have regressed in the new space age (smh) analytical defense of Nolan's. I've heard many of top NFL minds say it a coach wants to pick his player at QB, and this is no knock on Dak at all. I just think McCarthy wants to do things his way with his guy and you can tell by these personnel moves we have no intention of competing this season. Heck they've all but made Zeke an after thought.

0% chance this team gets a top 3 pick. The East is bad enough for at least 4 wins. They’ll finish with 5-6 wins at worst

Jerry brought in a coach with a track record because this roster was supposedly ready to win.

Was it?

And is McCarthy still the right guy?

Doesnt matter because Jerry doesnt even respect the coaches enough to want to pay them at all.

He rarely if ever eats coaches contracts.

So....MM being the right guy or not doesnt matter, he IS the guy for about as long as the deal he signed is.

Then he goes back to Wisconsin with a bunch of Jerry's money and a smile.

Meanwhile Jerry still trying to figure out what "his way" even IS.

The constant in this sheet show is Jerry. I think Stephen will be worse. Dark days for the Dallas Cowboys.

He's done. But still, I'd keep him here as a starter for 10-12 games a season for the next few years. Maybe only let him play home games so he doesn't have to travel as much plus a few more important games. Can't afford to invest a top draft pick on LT with the defense in shambles

the mileage on those tires have the wire showing thru. HE IS DONE. Too bad, he is so young still. I was on this board 2 years ago or more telling you guys to trade him back then, sell high as they say...but no one was listening. Now he walks and likely retires soon. He was breaking down a couple years ago. Writing was on the wall.SHAMEFUL we never addressed this.

Fork a stick in em. They’re done!
Can we also ask Big Mike to leave.
I don't want to pay my Head Coach to check if the lights are turned off and make sure the oven is not on.
I need that man to run the offense and make the gameplan. I don't know what Jerry has done, has he nutered big Mike already?

Me thinks I agree. I wouldn't be sad.

Good post. I said something similar at the beginning of the season, I basically said even if his health is questionable they'll definitely still try to squeeze another 20 to 25 games out of him (for the reasons you noted, nobody's currently being groomed for the position and they really need defensive help in the draft)

Looks like they need to find a LT in the offseason.
how do you know its not Knight he has a full season to show something not every dang player has to be a HOF PB player and theres no full proof draft to get one..guess what out top picks will be NeXT season

DEFENSE. A LOT OF DEFENSE

we have LC coming back and if they feel its important you move LC to LT and Knight out to RT..done..

Maybe it will be? But the possibility of having to draft one is there. I've been wanting an all defensive draft for years! We'll see how the front office handles that and what the younger guys do the rest of the way! But it seems like having to look for a replacement LT is officially underway!

Smiths problems started years ago when he refused to have back surgery and tried managing it through the season by taking days off. Jerry never should of restructured his contract TWICE!

First of all, It was made to be a joke. Also, Out of everyone saying the EXACT same thing (rebuild, tank and get a top pick), you pick me. Am I your target? You’re going on ignore at this point. Get over yourself and leave me alone. Last year, when Dak was missing La’el and Tyron, and his two WR’s, you have him an excuse to lose to the Jets.

Dak is now going to be missing his two right tackles, and he has a way worse defense than he did last year, but “the offense is fine and you need to get over it”. Just stop.
You’re forgetting. He’s already been missing his tackles. And the offense didn’t seem to hindered. Last season he was missing Gallup and amari on top of his 2 tackles. Big difference. Also Tyron is a left tackle. Not picking on you just pointing out you said 2 right tackles.
