If they had been giving Williams snaps at T for the last couple of years, that would have been a lot more viable.

May still be the best option, but it could have been a much better one.

Really disappointing.
Reasonable to expect Frederick to get back healthy this year.
Last year, Tyron looked better than he has since 2016. Looked like he had turned the corner on the back.
And signing Collins looked like a homerun, with him likely to push for a Pro Bowl spot this year.

Instead, ugh.
Fredbeard gone permanently.
Collins for the season.
Tyron heading for gone for the season, and now we're gonna have to start looking at a post Tyron future even if he can come back next year.

That they're even talking shutting down Tyron for the season must mean his season is over. If there was any kind of hope, Jerry would carry him on the roster til the end of the season in hopes of him coming back as a matter of course. "Medical options". Sounds like he just needs surgery.

In January, I was talking about "dominant". 4 likely Pro Bowlers, and Williams and McGovern fighting for LG, and let the best man win. Now, not.

Oh well. It is fun watching young guys improve. Biadasz and Knight are guys to be hopeful about. McGovern too, if they'd play him. Even Steele, but not so much this year.

Interesting: Martin at RT. Plays to our relative depth at interior oline. Pick three out of Williams, McGovern, Biadasz, and Looney. That's not a bad 3.

Really should be Knight at RT, Williams at LT, but they've seemed so intent at not even considering Williams at T.

Oversee a rebuild and shopping for a QB. He one of the better bets for the latter.

So that gets us to 5 wins right there, so highest pick we are looking at would be 4-7 range.........we are currently 5th in draft order.

Hope springs eternal for some, I guess. I no longer possess such optimism for this franchise.

My hope is he’d stay healthy enough to play 11,12 games help us win some and Simultaneously hold some value so we could sell Somewhat high on him in The offseason.

You know, I have the utmost respect for Tyron, but just like Lawrence, why , O why can these players not get these issues taken care of in the off season, especially the guys that know they have issues? Like Tyron, Lawrence, Lee, Collins? , Lve, etc. Smith and Lee should leave the last game of last season and be taken to an orthopaedics office before even returning home to sleep. They should have a team of physicians working together to decide how to help fix their issues.

I would sit Tyron for the season I know another freaking year with "what If "
I Know we cant cut Tyron but what about moving him to Guard? Didnt we do that with Allen?

We have been saying this for several years but we have to replace Tyron he hasnt played a season in several years and the fact that he is always hurt at some point We have to think of replacing him when he is hurt.
We could get lucky that he will retire but Not sure how that effects our Cap.

I will be rooting for our Boys even though they piss the crap out of me when game time comes. How in the world has this team forgotten to play football?

As you guys have stated in another post we need to seriously evaluate our players.
If they decide to keep Nolan- In which I hope that they dont even if we didnt have Covid and no preseason I DONT like Nolan and his Defense. He has never succeeded at any place that he has been.

POE I dont think that he has payed as bad as some think. In this defense it seems that every player has to be in their spot or area in order for it to work. So if you have several players not grasping the terminology then it effects the whole. So we need to draft smart players on defense and scarp the dummies or Get rid of Nolan. I think the later is the best option since we wont have a lot of capital next season.

The sad part Unless a Miracle happens we are NOT going to the SB this year. Out of default we probable will win the division because its horrid. lol
Im Not saying lets Tank the season but I am looking at draft picks for 2021.I honestly feel that this team is FUBAR.

What a waste of a brilliant offensive line for 3-4 seasons. The window is short these days and the Cowboys blew right past it.
