All of a sudden it's the front office's fault

It seemed like everyone here was excited about the hire of Mike McCarthy.

It seemed like everyone here loved the drafted players.

It seemed like everyone liked the free agency signings of McCoy, Poe, Aldon Smith, and Griffen. Even Ha Ha Clinton Dix and the new Swing Tackle.

Yet, here we are at 1-3 (should be 0-4) after some really ugly performances through 4 weeks.

This falls all on Mike McCarthy because he's the Head Coach. He is responsible for getting this team ready to play each week. And the 1-3 record indicates he isn't doing a good job at it so far. In fact, it indicates he's been terrible as a Head Coach.

He inherited a competitive team and the off season moves that were made were applauded by this board and even the media. But now it's the front office's fault.

Give me a break.

If your talking about the defense, YES it's the FO fault for ignoring certain positions and the overall lack of talent.

Did you hear X. Woods? That's a RKG to the FO. You can't win with players like him...soft.

But, yeah you blame Big Mike, Nolan.. whoever you want it's enough to go around.

Yeah I agree. If you want to fault the front office its for hiring McCarthy but this teams downfalls are on Mike. Sorry. I know its easier to blame Jerry but no one here had any issue with McCarthy even though the signs pointed to him being the issue in GB. And I haven't written him off but he has this team in this mess and he needs to get them out of it ASAP.

Competetive team? lol That's hilarious! This is the front office completely crapping the bed over the past 5 years when it came to building the defense. This D is garbage, it's been garbage. People want to blame the coach who has been here 4 games. You can't build a roster in 1 offseason. Took the other clown 10 years and he still sucked.

It’s Jerry Jones’ fault for instilling a “spoiled boy” culture, meaning, even if someone does something wrong, it’s instantly forgiven and disregarded, hence why we fail every year. From the players to the coaches to the staff in the FO. No accountability. No effort. But why care if Jerry’s just gonna forgive and continue to pay you?

its not all of a sudden. its been an ongoing problem. many questioned McM as the cure or even his hiring. better than garrett? maybe...but is he the answer? seemingly this year its fallen apart faster than any other eyar. coming apart at the seams. this team is a total mess and that's directly the fault of the front office. btw, I didn't support signing of McCoy, Poe, Dix and Griffen. we got lucky on Smith, I admit that...but look at the defensive investments and the payoffs. Lawrence and Jaylon got two huge contracts totally $140M. we have spend premium draft picks in picking LVE (injury history), Chido, Taco, Hill, Jaylon, Gregory...has any of them play to the level of a 1st or 2nd round pick after all these years....

and then we sign Poe and McCoy, two names from the past that were way past their prime and last year part of a carolina defense that was bottom of the league...are you surprised that Cowboys are now bottom of the league? what did we expect? nobody touched Griffin, until we got desparate...now we know why.......and we have Crawford making 9M as a freaking backup...why did we hand out a 50M+ contract to a back up player, not dominant at anything......

every defensive investment has been a disaster.

no, this mess falls on Jones. he is the GM. he is ultimately responsible for all of this and any GM with this track record would have been fired 15 years ago....we are stuck with Jones. it ain't going to get better. I have come to the realization that cowboys will suck, they will tease you now and then, but then continue to suck the year after.....its been the same dang story for 15 years now.

what team have you been watching for the last 25 years? And quite frankly it doesn’t matter who coaches this team - as long as Jerry is the GM and there is a culture that doesn’t emphasize accountability - this team will fail.

People were much more excited about getting rid of Garrett than the arrival of McCarthy.

It could have been anyone.

What I DO know is that Jerry needed to get this hire right...and so far the results havent been great.
