If you really think Tyron and Martin arent going to the HOF you may need to re think some things.

So when did part time players start making the HOF ? He’s making HOF on some good early years and never won anything ? Nah.

No. It was Tyron and a 1st rounder. And it doesnt matter what they knew or didnt know. You dont make a trade for a safety using a HOF left tackle. Regardless if there was picks involved.

That’s right and by the looks of it, it could be a top 10 pick in the first round.

You know there's a lot of things we can knock this franchise for but them sticking to their guns on not pulling the trigger on that Jamal Adams deal is one of the pluses. I know Jerry probably really wanted a shiny new toy but we were not a Jamal Adams player away.

HOF monitor.

Tyron will have a tough time making it. 2 All Pro, 7 Pro Bowls in 9 seasons. Now another non-Pro Bowl season for his 10th season. I don't see another All Pro coming. Maybe Pro Bowls. Maybe not, too. Probably not a championship either.
Could be a guy we trade or cut too. Brandon Knight has looked like a starting T. Not great. But legitimate. Should only improve. Collins is signed. 3 starting Ts is a luxury.

Zack is a lock, barring injury. 4 time All Pro, 6 time Pro Bowl in 6 seasons. LIkely still has All Pro seasons left in him. Perennial Pro Bowls.

From Fisher fwiw:

Back in October, Dallas pretty much offered too little, and the Jets - maybe gauging the market without any serious intention of doing a deal - maybe asked for too much, at different times requesting a first-, a second- and a third-rounder plus the involvement of an All-Pro offensive lineman, Zack Martin or Tyron Smith.

Well that was a disaster trying to happen. Thank you, Jets, for saving us from that.

Jamaal Adams isn’t a difference maker..

Seattle is terrible on defense.

Lol, you don't usually trade a top LT for a top safety during their prime. It's always easy to make hindsight judgements now that he's out for the year. It was the right decision to pass at the time.

Jamal is a difference maker.. big time. Two #1's and 3rd/4th we have an all-pro safety in the "Zeke & O-line" window plus the next 10 years. You make the trade and you keep Byron Jones as well and pay the man his 17/mill. Deal with 2022 when it gets there ..u got a 2 year window to win the SB with Zeke and Zach/Tyron/Cooper. We're sitting on 23 mill plus Tyrone Crawford 9 mill and an unsigned Prescott that would have saved another 25 mill this year if signed. Major fail by front office bu they are proud of their top 5 cap space. Welcome to 1-3 and the worst Defense in the NFL and Cowboys History. LMK if you want to go the cap and see how we could have paid for it.... We walked and banked the money.

Quality/good things in life are not cheap and cheap things are rarely good
