Starting a new tradition and celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving today! Hello to any Canadians from your southern neighbor. Soooooo....

Apple wood smoked ham (ordered online)
Sweet potato casserole infused with maple syrup, topped with TX maple syrup candied pecans
Cornbread stuffing with 2 tbls maple syrup
Wild rice bluberry muffins (real wild rice, hand harvested from Moose Lake in MN)
Oven roasted maple glazed carrots
Oven roasted maple glazed brussel sprouts
Maple pie with walnuts
Nanaimo Bars (some sort of delicious looking Canadian dessert, first time ever made)

Go Cowboys!

Sorry and thanks SISTER for the tip, but I have no Wallyworld near me, nor have I ever heard of one, other than an episode from the Grisswalls?
Wasnt it like Vacation or something, they had the dead aunt on top of the wood panel station wagon...

Fixed a typo for ya at the top lol. Everyone makes the mistake and thinks that’s me in my avatar but it’s my son. Anyhow Wallyworld=Walmart. I love National Lampoons Vacation yeah it’s the one with the dead aunt on the top of the car.

Ribeyes over wood,Bacon-Wrapped Dove Jalapeno Cream Cheese Poppers, steamed broccoli with a squeeze of lemon and roasted garlic.

And of course Jack. Some call it neat, I just say it is in a glass.
If you invited me over, I would make sure and wear a tie,, over my tee shirt, but I would want to be appropriate attire.. there should be an annual @cowboyzone event, a major chow down event that happens once every year,
and Ranching of course has to be the host... this is his gig afterall.
So Ranch throws down the main item, and then everyone else just trys to stay in line.

My bad,, I know, I am somewhat of a Neanderthal lug head,, I respectfully apologize for that pre gender classification.

Bacon wrapped Angus filets from Chicago Steak Co. ( I've done Omaha Steaks, super unimpressed), from online, marinated overnight in olive oil, lime, Chicago Steak seasoning, and parsley, skewered with onion, and applewood smoked at 225 for about 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 30 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer. You don't want to overcook filets. I smoke to 130 internal temperature and use a torch to finish them off. Then, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and a steamable bag of mixed vegetables, just so the wife won't complain. I don't really care. The meat is the star of the show. Vodka in various ways throughout the day. Make sure to drink plenty of water. Righteous!

Too late, already in Montana. If, by change, you mean copious amounts of wild game - bring it on.

Interestingly enough, there is a butcher in the adjacent town that specializes in wild game.
Ok, so Yes I agree,, your diet is going to change for the better,, no more franchise McDonalds, KFC and Burger King...
Its beautiful territory, and like I said,, your diet will change,, I never meant for the worse.

I will have to learn to fly fish... Our property has rights to a stream that empties into the Bitterroot River (as in, "A River Runs Through It")

Yes! The whole outdoors adventure is a huge draw for us. We are about 4 hours from both Yellowstone and Glacier national parks. And, if that isn't good enough, we are only about 20 miles from where the TV show, "Yellowstone" is filmed.
