divisional games are hard to figure
we won and Dalton is paying off

Honestly I'm not a Dak hater, but its in Dallas' BEST INTEREST to lose as many games as possible from here on in. 9-7, 8-8, or 7-9 get you what?

A First round exit and a low pick. Dallas isn't making a legitimate a SB run with a patchwork OL and an immobile Andy Dalton.

Its in dallas BEST interest to get as high a pick as possible and to IMO draft a QB.

I jus don't see how Dallas now signs Prescott to a 100m contract.

I feel horrible for the guy but there is a reason most QBs don't play out there option. Injury risk!

What's to be disgusted about? We can only play who's on our schedule.

A 1-3 team beat a 0-4 team. It was an onsides kick away from being a 0-4 team beating an 0-4 team.

Take the W.
Lol, heard the same thing after we went 3-0 last year against literally 3 of the 4 worst teams in the league. Everyone was giddy, Moore was the next HC in waiting and myself and a few others were getting flamed for saying pump the brakes. We then went on to lose the next 4? games.

I look at things realistically and not only did we just lose our QB, but even with him, we struggled against the worst offense in the league, the 31st ranked O line, the 31st ranked overall team and the overall leader in turnovers last year and this year. Not to mention quite a bit of help from the officials.

Your team can't even beat Dalton. I'm glad you're going to sleep pissed. Weird how half your posts are about the Giants

Lol the Dak injury sucked. The defense is still bad and I honestly have no idea what this team will look like next season.

All said I hate the Giants, and I love winning. I will go to bed as a division leader. I suggest you learn to appreciate the little things my friend.
Little things? Ok. I appreciate we barely won a game against the worst offense in the league. We won with a lot of help from the officials. We won from getting one turnover against the league leading turnover player. We barely won against the 2nd worst ranked O line. We barely won against the 2nd worst team in the league. We’re in the lead of the 2nd worst division in NFL history. We just lost our starting QB.

Wooooooooooooo! Gotta love these wins! Good night sweet prince.

Sadly....too many fans here would rather lose w/ #4 as their starting QB...than actually get a win. It's a shame it's come to that in America. :(
I want to win. Those 2 throws to Dalton are throws that Dak lack. Those were stikes, plus he trusted his receiver to make the difficult catch.

I am fine with Dalton going forward. If dak walks. Sign Dalton and draft a youngster to tutor under him. Ultimately, if MM is going to be the man, he should have the QB he wants...

Brain fart, Not option but essentially play on 1 year deals and forgo a long term extension w/up front money.

Oh ok. Well he is getting 31 million. But I agree turning down over 100 mil in guaranteed money for the tag was probably a mistake with or without injury. Hopefully this injury isn't even close to a career ender. Probably the season. So he shouldn't really lose anything. At this point he had nothing to prove. What you see is what you get.

You could almost see this coming. As bad as the defense is the offense has to try that much harder. Injuries were bound to happen.

I don’t get the hate on the Giants offense. They have solid skill guys all over

Have you actually watched them this year? They are god awful. That is why. This season, they scored a total of 3 points in all four of their 1st quarters. Before this game, they had not scored a TD in like 21 straight drives. Daniel Jones is not good at all. This is the NFL. Every team is loaded at skill positions on offense. It's the lines on both sides and the QB that sets everyone apart.

I’m actually interested in this Andy Dalton experiment.

Do we really need to spend all that money to get Dak like results? Stay tuned...
Honestly right now I am not thinking too much about the team or contract issues. I feel bad for Dak. When I saw him in tears as he was being carted off the field I got a little choked up. He's a good man and he played his heart out for us. I don't care about contracts, draft picks or next year. I feel bad for Dak and I would have rather lost this game and he stay healthy then win like this. I'm all for the Andy Dalton experiment if Dak played so poorly that he got benched. But I don't want the Andy Dalton experiment because of an injury.

I feel horrible for Dak. I hope he fires his agent, I hope Jerry and company put back on the table the 35 million a year contract with 100 million in bonus and I hope Dak takes it and he's the starting QB for us for 5 more years. I hope Jerry goes to the hospital and tells him he can't negotiate on the tag but the offer still remains and Dak can get his surgery done knowing his money is taken care of for the future.

:clap:If the Cowboys lowball him, I hope he goes to another team and wins a Super Bowl. It would be even extra special if it was against the Cowboys. Yeah....you read it right.

Aria calm down lol. We aren't winning anything this year. You already knew that right? The moment Dak went down our defensive struggles ceased to matter. Because of the extent of Daks injury our future has never been so uncertain. I have zero expectations anymore. How could I?

What is considered low ball now? Honest question. His contract has to be somewhat risk dependent, so Im assuming we have no idea at this point. Dak is tough as nails though. I expect him back next season, but damn its too early to say.

Yeah man...I’m a little emotional and bummed right now. You may sleep easy but all that win did for me was show how much worse we are than I actually thought. And to think we just helped give the Giants a better draft pick when they wouldn‘t be making the playoffs anyways....ugh.

Hopefully they don’t fire their incompetent GM so they can pick another Daniel Jones or RB with the top 10 pick and god forbid they get the 1st overall pick (I don’t think that will happen) but they could get Lawrence.

What did we get out of it? A moral victory for the Jones and homers who think beating a worst offense in the league division rival justifies some of these contracts (ie Smith and Lawrence)? I expect more of the same for the next games until we play an actual good team. This is like last year in reverse.

Did you watch it? If so, then I shouldn’t have to. Even everyone’s boy Romo was questioning the calls.

We can start with Flemming moving on the fake kick that would have been a TD. Let me know if you want to keep going.

They held our DL almost non-stop the entire game. I saw our DL get tackled from behind right on front of a ref at least twice. There were several nonsense calls in the Giants favor.

The refs did not decide this game. It wasn't called well, but it wasn't called well for either team. Quit grasping for reasons to take the microscopic measure of positivity and optimism away from today's win. Stop being an edge lord.

My hope was gone the moment Dak went down. Realistically the season is over. I dont believe we are bad enough to get the 1st pick with Dalton, though. We are gonna win some games. When I say the season is over I mean my hopes of doing anything special have been destroyed. That doesn't disqualify us from winning this putrid division though. It will be interesting to see Dalton play. All the Dak haters finally have their chance. So if they are right this offense should keep humming along. If they are wrong I can at least laugh at them. Next offseason will be interesting. For now I have zero expectations, maybe they will suprise me.

There are bad calls or non calls every play, when was the last time you saw TWO TD’s taken away from the Cowboys in one game, not to mention the several other calls that effected the game in our favor?

I get it, EVERY team gets good calls and bad call and non calls. All I’m saying is I never want to hear from the cry baby conspiracy theorists again and the officials absolutely 100% played a large part in us winning tonight.

Please don’t act like if it was the other way around that it wouldn’t be a big deal.
