Did Romo seem a bit off after Dak injury

He seemed to lose some energy in the booth after Dak went down. He seemed very somber, and like his mind was somewhere else.

I noticed that too. Also I joined late because I watched the game on tape so this may have been covered, but it seemed like Dak was crying because of the support from his teammates and not the pain. I know it was touching to me and I've never met anyone on the team.

A lot of history there. Respects Dak a ton and had a relationship with him when he was here. Add in Dak being the franchise QB for the team he played over a decade for and suffering a horrible season ending injury like he did multiple times. I’m sure seeing it sucked but it’s easy to see how it could bring things flooding back for him in particular.

Romo and Dak were teammates...... I’m sure he cares about him.

Dak and Romo are both class acts and they weren't close when they are teammates, but even if they were enemies five years has passed. Romo is too good of a person and has too much money in the bank to be fighting petty battles from five years ago.

Yes in fantasy land here Romo was so overcome with emotion that he could barely do his job commentating on the game.

I'm going to guess Romo's a man and you're imagining this. Just like you're imagining what close friends they were years ago.

I don't know what was going on with Romo....maybe he was trying to be professional without showing bias....but there was a point he said "Maybe its a cramp"....I have no idea what he was looking at or if he was just frazzled.
