Can’t complain about the whistles this week.

Flag on Fleming on the fake FG was ticky-tack and everyone here would be *****ing - justly - if that same call is made against the Boys.

Even Romo said the pick call on the Slayton TD was a poor one.

And Steele basically tackled BJ Hill on the first Gallup catch on the final drive. Ref even had his hand on his pocket but didn’t throw it.

Guess the refs didn’t get Goodell’s memo this week.

On to AZ.

Those calls were not ticky tack and absolutely correct. Who cares what that blowhard Romo said. That pick was as obvious as you could. As blatant as can be. There was a reason he was streaking down the field with no one there. I get this defense does that on their own but not on this play.

Thought Romo was absolutely wrong on that pick. It was pretty obvious

I really don't think that flag on Fleming was ticky tacky. It was beyond obvious he was moving at the snap it's the right call and very blatant. But it had absolutely nothing to do with the play so I can see fans getting upset about it. I'd be more upset with the holder being too excited to get the play off. There had plenty of time to get vtyst snap off and have that guy still uncovered.

That pick play is 100% a pick play. But the nfl and it's garbage rules allow that stuff to happen to make offense easier.

So I will say thar the refs did help on that pick play only because the nfl rules are awful.

Because of 1 missed call?
Lol, ONE? Let’s start with this...like the ONE missed call that people claim when Dez caught it? Like the ONE missed call when people say Gallup didn’t commit OPI?

After you answer those we can move on to the several calls that some of our cry baby fans would have been whining about if the tables were turned.

Dez didn't catch it based on a stupid NFL catch rule but technically they applied it within NFL rules. Still stings though. The Gallup offensive PI shouldn't have been called though. The Rams missed a face mask on Goff that game. I'll leave it there. If you have time to debate further you can list out every missed call and called penalty and we can see how balanced it was.

League wants the Cowboys in it this year for obvious reasons.

That was a pick and you can tell he did it intentionally. It was absolutely the right call.

Objectively speaking I think I can agree that I would have been pissed if those calls were against us. I do call out refs regularly so when it goes our way I should acknowledge that as well.

Bottom line is that no reasonable person can really dispute that holding should have been called on the final drive.

cowboys have been screwed before and no one is shy about pointing that out.

but everyone does get the benefit of a favorable whistle sometimes. And they did tonite.

The two obvious biggest flags were both legit.

The fake FG- O lineman was clearly NOT set. Sure, call it ticky tacky or whatever, but it wasn’t a bad call or phantom call. Giants shouldn’t have rushed to snap it. That’s on them.

The offensive PI- not sure how anyone can argue this. Also, those types of plays are trash, hurt the game, and should be flagged more, IMO.

This is the one Giants friends of mine are really chapped about.

It must be that Packer blocking technique lol

Yea, the Giants rushed it for no good reason. No one would of noticed the guy out there if they waited another second or two. Linemen weren't set.

Lol, well people did argue it and are arguing it. Even the almighty Romo was questioned both calls, especially fhe the offensive PI.

It’s how officiating goes in the league these days, it sucks. I don’t care if we win or lose, I just don’t want to see any game so clearly decided by the officials and that’s what happened last night. It’s over, it happens to every team, oh well, but I don’t want to hear the cry babies say it only happens to us next time we lose a game due to officiating.

The ref actually reached for his flag but did not throw it thankfully...

I disagree with Romo on the pick because it was. WR lowered his shoulder on the play and when he did that the ref threw the flag.
On Fleaming play I have seen big plays taken away from the Cowboys because of ticky tacky call and while it is upsetting it is also the rule and that rules has hurt us as well as other teams over the years but it the right call.

Seen a replay of that fake Fg. Fleming was not set, and 2 other players on the OL moved as well. It was the correct call.
The pick play was the correct call as well. How many times has that been called on our offense, but not on others. A lot. This time they finally called it correctly.
I don't think Romo said it was a poor call, just that is may be a bit questionable, as to it was not done on purpose, the player could have been running a route, and it just happened.

As for Steele...how many times has that been done to our Defense and not called as well. I would need to look at it to see what you are referring to.

So it is about dang time we got calls our way toward the end of the game. Over all it was one of the better reffed games I seen.
