I like Coop. The body language thing is annoying no doubt. He also plays a position we are deep at so I can get people turning on him. Especially since Gallup and Lamb appear to be more physical and fans love physicality.
TBTH, Cooper comes off as a p***y on a lot of plays. It’s annoying and needs to stop.

I understand the concerns of his body language. It is tough to read at times. And he doesn’t seem mentally into the game at times.

I do think his overall production is hard to argue against though. In general
I think Amari is a fantastic athlete and a genuinely good person that has some sort of social/anxiety disorder based on his actions and body language.

Ok geniuses.

This was our first game where were balanced with run vs pass.

If we are running, it is Blake Bell, Noah Brown, and Gallup that are on the field. Those are the best run blockers.

Coop played 2/3rds of the snaps. More than Lamb. No one is posting "what's wrong with Lamb?"

Why?

A complete inability to actually look up facts.
Maybe Cooper is a liability as a blocker? Maybe they want to keep his snap counts down on running downs. Who knows. But it’s a trend.

Seems like in 3WR his best blockers are Brown, Gallup, and Wilson. Don't know if its a liability thing or just trying to reducing injury risk

many seem to ignore the fact that without Cooper, CeeDee and Gallup would not have had nearly the success that they've had.

To my eye, I just don't know about his "want to", especially in the Big Games. I'm going with my gut on this one, even though all I have is game tape. If some other team really wants him, I say entertain a deal, for draft picks or known defensive commodities. Amari may be able to be used to really help this defense into the future.

And not a good trend, may I add...

It may well be that with the breakouts we've seen from Brown and Wilson that the coaching staff has realized that there's no point in running one guy into the ground. Let the other guys come in and do thangs too. That way you get the best of the Big Three at crunch time..

Is Amari Cooper hurt? As of the 4th qtr yesterday, he was only on the field for 50% of the snaps. This was a curious stat concerning the number of snaps among Cowboys receivers yesterday as tweeted by Bob Sturm . It doesn’t show the final snap counts, but he’s clearly not on the field much yesterday.

His stat line? Only 4 targets and 2 receptions for 23 yards. Again- is Coop hurt? Is there something we don’t know going on with Coop? Michael Gallup had 95% of the snaps to Coop’s 50%? What gives?

I'm sure it's all part of MM big plan lol

I kept telling ya'll this is Amari Cooper. I have followed him his whole career. When he doesn't get engaged early he is a non factor and has the boo,boo face. Even when guys try keeping him involved and Derek Carr has commented on his going back to his struggles in Oakland but the trade.

These are the same arguments Raiders fans have been posting about their man since his rookie season with the team.

He's an inemgaminatic weird dude.

You're going to get 1200 yards out of hom because that's his floor. He's not a 1500+ alpha dog. Like Hopkins.

To his credit. He made a big play on the GW drive.

I think the NY D was keying on Amari.

Doubling Amari means less coverage for everyone else. Should be a win. Even if Amari doesn't produce, it's a win.

If Amari is hobbled, and they *don't* double him, then you have to pull him.

The attention Cooper garners from the defense allows Gallup and Lamb (and Wilson and Brown) to eat. Even when he's not in the game I guarantee you the DBs all breathe a sigh of relief and let up a little against the other guys. It's human nature.. I will never be one to complain about Cooper's body language or his calm demeanor. As long as he catches the ball when they throw it to him. All that other BS is of no consequence and has zero impact on the game.
