It doesn't matter who's QB when your Def gives up an average 34 points a game

NY was averaging 16 points a game. Along comes Dal and let's them rack up 34. Really?

I don't care who's the QB, when this Def is the worst in NFL history.

Agreed, just literally heard Colin Cowherd say "Dak is a special dude, but not good enough to overcome the structural realities in Dallas". Do we completely blow it up and start over?

Yeah you’re absolutely right.

either the defense turns things around and starts playing significantly better. Preferably, they start to force turnovers consistently.

or this season is sunk. And that too would be the case with Dak or Dalton at QB.

2 turnovers are responsible for nearly 14 of that.
And they scored 7 themselves.

That's a net of a little over 13.

The issue with this defense is before the ball is snapped you should be reading to see what the offensive formation is and shifting if needed

Our players are trying to figure out where theyre supposed to be lined up and by the time they figure it out theyre on the wrong side of a touchdown

We could be a much better defense if they simply knew where to line up

If the defense continues to be terrible, I think the season will come down to seeing if Dak was singlehandedly keeping us in games. We give up 40 points a game, but we score about 40 points a game too. If we start consistently losing 40-10, I see us giving Dak a huge contract because we think he’s our only hope. If we continue to put up big numbers with Dalton but still lose close games, then we have a lot to think about next offseason.

True, but that doesn't necessarily mean they wouldn't have scored on their natural possessions, had our offense not turned it over. But we'll never know.

lets not forget the easy 14 the offense once again gave up they lead the league in TOS, the offense putting the defense on quick turnaround short fields..wasnt one of those a pick 6?

good god the defense is bad but stop laying the entire 34 on them its 14 to the offense..sorry realistically they are givig ip 20-23 points game 27 ,ax if the offense stop handing it over to the other side at an alarming rate..

the D needs help they will run more TOP swing back our way rest the defense and stop turning it over!!
