lets not forget the easy 14 the offense once again gave up they lead the league in TOS, the offense putting the defense on quick turnaround short fields..wasnt one of those a pick 6?

good god the defense is bad but stop laying the entire 34 on them its 14 to the offense..sorry realistically they are givig ip 20-23 points game 27 ,ax if the offense stop handing it over to the other side at an alarming rate..

the D needs help they will run more TOP swing back our way rest the defense and stop turning it over!!

Again I'm not sure why everyone thinks the coaching staff wouldn't have already done this if they could. we aint holding the ball running with this O-line your asking for 3 and outs which is going to speed up the boat race we are about to see from the cards Offense. your going to have to throw the ball and do it under pressure if you want to have a chance

NY was averaging 16 points a game. Along comes Dal and let's them rack up 34. Really?

I don't care who's the QB, when this Def is the worst in NFL history.

Yeah, the defense is not playing well. But your numbers are not fair to the defense concerning points.
The offense gave the Giants at least 10 and likely 14 points with turnovers. The offense gave the Falcons 17 points off turnovers if I remember correctly. Not sure how many points Seahawks and Browns got off turnovers.

KM would not have but with Dalton out there im betting they do and that bunch

BS oh my the toher team might score 30 so we need to throw it 50 times..

did the browns throw it all over the lot like 50 times on our bad design knowing we could score on offense? NO NOT EVEN CLOSE they had creative run game used OBJ , chubb, and other Rbs and Tes into the run game .te ravens, titans, and other teams heck ive seen KC use the run game with an actual plan.we do not always have to keep chucking around the lot before we even kick it off..bad mindset by Moore IMHO.. theres way to control the clock and actually design a run game that doesnt look like you are handing it off to FB over and over..

Ive been saying it all year and the offense is lending hand to their own issues having to overcome early deficits. Stop turning it OVER!!

i realize at point where you are way down late you have to go 2min but being down 10 doesnt mean you pass 90% of the time//thats a MOore issue..

not saying games wont dictate going pass happy but game plans SHOULD NOT!

Its more about blocking, its hard to control the clock running the ball when the other team is playing in your backfield at three of your 5 O-line spots. I dont think anyone fans nor coaches wont to throw the ball 50 times.....but wouldnt you agree a critically injured O-line might be a run game problem? and with Dalton in the game do you think Defenses are going to come harder or back up more?

YOU KEEP THEM HONEST THATS HOW

NOT TRYING TO ESTBALISH THE RUN AND GIVING UP EARLY IS THE ISSUE..

YES THEY DID MOORE AND MM WENT INTO SEATLE SAYIGTHAT HOW WE HAVE TO PLAY, I SAY BS, NOTE DIDNT THE SEAHAWKS GOSCORELES SHT EFIRST HALS YESTERDAY..

THEY NEED TO SCHEME RUNS THERS WAY TO HELP THE OL JUST LIKE INPASSING AND GET TON OF MOVEMENT, REVERSES AND OTHER BLOCKIGN SHCEMES TO HELP THE RUN GAME..TOP IS IMPORTANT WHEN YOU HAVE WEAK D..

its bad mindset that KM has got i to the better part of the last 14 games... they abandon the run far too early..

Yes you use misdirection and screens to slow down the penetration....the problem is we have sucked at that so far and most of that is because we are starting O-lineman that are barley NFL players....I understand what your saying and I'm even down for sticking with it...just saying dont be suprised when it doesnt work and we are down 21-0 very quickly because punting is equal to giving up 7 points with this deefense right now.

The offense needs to clean up their turnovers, but it's still a problem with the Giants have struggled on offense and yet puts together their best game of the season against this Cowboys defense.

you mean the pick 6 screen passes? the over the head, worm burners, and losing 5 yard screen passes we see all year?
LOOK man stop making it difficult they need to RUN MORE, MOORE is horrible about scheming the run game..hes using zeke like FB Moore has had this issue for while and you are blind if you dont see it.. great at pass happy boy genius but run game is his kryptonite,,

For this defense to improve enough to at least compete, we need T Hill to take another step next year, Gerald McCoy to be better than Poe has been, Gallimore to come on, and still add a player in the draft. We also need another legit LB in the draft, along with another CB and Safety.

That’s doable. Young guys get better and add at least one contributor at every Level. That doesn’t make a good defense, but we know what the offense can do. The defense just needs to resemble an actual NFL defense. Then you go from there.

Dak gave up a pick 6...that’s 7
Dalton fumbled on the 24...that’s 3-7
ST had 12 men on the field...that was 3
ST almost gave up another 4 (illegal shift)
Pollard running to the 20 has become a staple giving us bad field position.

There is still a maddening number of blown assignments in the secondary but things were definitely better and it’s more than just the defense.

The funny thing is everyone is piling on the D for pts given up but this offense has really screwed them up with turnovers and short fields in 5 games.

They did seem to improve. Can they continue to improve is the question.
Improved?
They let the gi-aints, a team that was scoring 16 points, score 34. How is that an improvement?

better in second half’s of games . Need to see that all game and not having to defend short fields due to O turnovers

that said still to easy to get 1st downs and keep drives alive and wide open receivers

The Giants also had two easy touchdowns called back so it probably should have been worse. This defense is worse than bad. There was a little more hustle/urgency etc. this game to maybe take away some positives if they can mange to build on that.

no it wont but we need to be ultra aggressive in FA,get two good DTs and not garbage ones like Poe

I know this goes against what we've seen this team do in the past, and I understand that building through the draft is the way to go, but if we want to get this defense fixed, we need to spend on some free agents for this defense.

Yes, we need to hit on draft picks but we need a few proven guys to come in and really improve this defense immediately.
