I know Dak bought insurance last year, not sure about this year, so if his agent is smart, would have insured for $50 mill in case of injury plush cash in the $31 million this year. Anyone know if Dak did this? either way, h should fine financially

The agent didn't break his leg. Dak understood the risks. It was a freak accident. So no. Don't fire the agent.

He probably did. But this years money is guaranteed. Also, those kinds of policy's are hard to collect. All based on speculation.

Didn't Dak fire his agent recently, and hired a new one?

It really depends on what his agent advised him. Doubt if we'll ever know.

He essentially was dealt a bad card and now needs something great to come up on the river to have a winning hand. He hasn’t lost, but the odds have flipped on him.

In other words, he’s bet on “his season” two years in a row and hasn’t won. He’s down to his last card to be dealt and it doesn’t look as good as it once did.

Todd France tried to roll the Kirk Cousins dice and get paid, and paid, and paid, and paid.

But.

This was Dak's doing. He fired his agent and hired France to secure the biggest bag. This was the plan all along. It just tragically backfired. I can't even call it greed, but yikes this is an unfortunate reality for Dak. I hate to see awful things happen to good guys.

as others have said when discussing Daks value, "why are we worried about what another grown man makes". Dak is just as guilty as his agent for not signing, stop making excuses for Dak. As I've said before everything has fallen in place to keep us from being handcuffed. Only time will tell how it turns out for us.

Dak would be in a much better place right now if he had fired his agent last year and taken the more than fair offer that he was offered. He listened to someone who wasn't acting in his best interest, imho. Too many agents are more interested in their own welfare than that of their client.

Malpractice? I’m not even a lawyer but that’s a lost cause. What’s the argument, he advised Dak to do what every player who has ever been franchised tagged has done?

Dak is going to be okay. Not only is he guaranteed $30M for this year, you better believe he has an insurance policy. If by some chance he doesn’t, then his lawyer can be sued for malpractice.

Going off of memory. Dak fired his agent around 2018 and hired the one that he currently has. It was his current agent that left the agency this year.
