Dalton played in a West Coast Offense

I'm not going to lie. I'm very curious, not excited by any means, but curious as to what our offense looks like without Dak. I mean, we don't get to see the all 22 on Sundays. We don't necessarily get to see all the guys Dak may or may not see running down field. If our offense looks good and continues to put up points then it will help everyone understand just how big Dak's role truly is. This season appears shot as of now but that doesn't mean we won't find out a lot about what Dak truly brings to this team over the next few months. Andy Dalton just got gifted an amazing group of weapons. The way Andy Dalton plays going forward should have a big effect on how much we are willing to pay Dak.

You seem to take all of this way too seriously.

So is this another personal attack, couched in concern? Come on man, be original like the rest of the Dak-stans.. Bring some real responses to my critique of Dak completely sucking.

So now I’m gettin criticized for taking things to seriously talking actual football? What exactly are you Dak-stans posting about?

Dak was very Jekyll & Hyde these last two years. When he was on, he was great. But there were long stretches in games of no productivity. This year it was more of the same with the addition of turnovers either directly or indirectly leading to points & big early leads for the other team. Dalton doesn’t have to be as good or better than 4th quarter double digits behind Dak all the time. If he can be consistently solid all game long it could work out better for the Cowboys. This team needs to take care of the football and control the clock. That wasn’t happening with Dak and if it doesn’t happen with Dalton I expect more 1-3 type four game stretches.

Now McCarthy doesn’t have to worry about the slow-learner Dak, who took a week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3, with some West Coast concepts that he can now work in with Moore, along with Moore not being saddled with a QB that can’t run a traditional drop-back pass, limiting his play calling.

I for one am ready for the end of the Dak era. We already seeing what 74% completion percentage Carr is doing when not surrounded by a train-wreck culture against legitimate defenses, while Dak, the GOAT, continued with his garbage time stat padding against scrub secondaries and Ls. You heard it here from Dak-stans that Carr wasn’t even in Dak’s league..

Yes. Dak has been terrible this year. If our D was passable, he would have been the early favorite for MVP.

To me people lose credibility calling Dak mediocre
You can argue as some do you shouldn’t spend the money for a QB that’s not a top 3-5 QB
That’s is a legitimate argument
But to say he’s mediocre is just silly

to me people lose credibility when they latch on to one word here and there, and that too hyperbole, while acting like they arent taking it personal that they’re man crush is getting criticized.

Oh yeah, like last year against bums, stating off close to 80% in the red zone only to end up back to the Dak norm of 50%. 1-4 was really impressive with analysts calling it empty stats.. But if it makes you feel better..

Hate to break it to you but no man crush
Just smart enough to see Dak is the best QB option this team has had since he’s been here and may very well be in the years to come

Your good man all Dalton has to do is be better.....right? your confident in this, you been saying he is better since we signed him..... you should double down on it just to make sure we all know how you feel.

He already was better on Sunday and will be better. Dak-stans were already grasping at straws trying to tell us how Gallup was to credit for everything and Dalton’s throws were off.. but what does Tony Romo know about throwing a football compared to Dak stans who love Dak’s 10 second wind up..

Put Dak on Detroit and you wouldn’t even know who he was. Dak can’t even shine the shoes of Stafford.
Maybe I am not a huge Dak supporter but my comment is meant to reflect that his stats are more a product of huge deficits during the game. Remember when everyone thought RW11 was stud but fail to recognize that most of his stats were when his teams was down big. Now that being said Dak is not the major reason this team is bad, Nolan and his scheme sucks for the players that are here.

so he fumbled, threw an almost pick and completed 2 passes to put us in field goal range to beat...the Giants...and he has already done better than Dak.....again just clarifying your stance

I mean I wont find any posts on you counting almost int's as int's will I?

Were not implementing a west coast offense. Will be interesting to see how Moore calls plays with Dalton at the helm.

Dalton can be good if we can find any sort of a run game, throwing for 50 times a game trying to come back from 3 td down....he double the turnovers Dak had

I see you've been posting here since 2006, and am genuinely curious what you talked about before we drafted Dak.

You seem to have a serious man crush on him.
probable Romo sux crowd or Romo was god either way plenty of things t talk about..maybe the 12 QBS before romo that failed :) doesnt appreciated no gap between Romo and Dak..
