I think that showed class on his part, as for the injury there was nothing intentional about it. He is a defender trying to make a play. Dak has to do a better job of protecting himself, he tried to pick up the extra yards instead of getting to the ground. League puts in these rules so QB can protect themselves even if they can't get to the sidelines. You give yourself up and play is dead, but when you do as Dak did then you will be treated like any other ball carrier.

The play that Dak officially won me over was the 16 yard scamper to the end zone against SEA in the playoffs two years ago where he was hit and somersaulted at the goal line. That play encapsulates Dak’s mindset and also captures why he got hurt Sunday.

Logan is 5'11" 195, trying to bring down 6'2" 240 in a dead run trying to gain yardage and get's stiff armed. How is he going to bring Prescott down without using his weight as leverage? I am sure if he had to to do over again, he would be more careful and explain to his coaches and teammates why he didn't bring the runner down. Dak Prescott would be the first to admit he is a load to bring down and it's like taking on a FB. It's simply football and this stuff happens every weekend.

Watch that play in slomo and it looks like he could have done it differently, until you look at that at full speed again. I have seen tacklers torque themselves up doing that same tackle.

I agree. Dak in no small man and the defender now days are barely able to tackle without a penalty or a fine, hell Tristian Hill injury came because he was trying to avoid landing on top of Jones and ends up blowing out his own knee. Dak tired to go for the extra yards and the defended did what he was supposed to do by the rules.

I get that it is part of who Dak is and the competitor he is. I saw Staubach with the same mindset where one season he is running and lowers his shoulder on a LB and ended up breaking the collar bone. It is easy to say get down and protect yourself I get that but I hope in the future he keeps in mind that him saying healthy is important to the team.

Not to mention the fact Dak held on to that ball. Sadly, our haters turn a blind eye to those plays.

Logan Ryan 5'-11" 195. Dak 6'-2" 235. Ryan was holding on for his life. Dak has made a comment before about his size running free out the backfield vs. DBs. Hope he learns how fragile life can be and it's ok to slide after a nice gain. Get well, Dak.

I'm sure all Giants, Commanders and Eagles players hope Dak gets $500M.

Get out of here
I don’t know what play you’re referring to regarding Donald but intentionally trying to injure someone has no place in the game.

And it shouldn’t be promoted. The NFL is violent but it’s not MMA or boxing. Get out of here.

Get out of here?? For what?? When QBs have sprained fingers and still play in the game... players go after that hand. If a player isn't healthy enough to be on the field, he need to sit his *** on the sidelines.... this is FOOTBALL. These guys are in the hurt business.

So no.... YOU get out of here!!! You're acting like Donald kicked him in his leg or twisted it or something.

Sorry Ndamakung. Your pregame ritual of sharpening your cleats has no place in the league.

Who are you? Tonya Harding’s brother?

I hope he comes back and they take this crap out the playbook.

Why in the hell a franchise QB is trying to truck a defender is beyond me. It wasn't even 3rd down IIRC.

Why don't you ask the former Commanders on the radio who said they would've done the same thing that Donald did??? I noticed you conveniently skipped over addressing what THEY said!!!

This is football!!! A game that includes enforcing pain on your opponent to break their will!!!

Sorry Rupaul.... who are you Richard Simmons or Elton John's brother???

Very classy of him. To me it didn't look like a dirty play and to see his reaction takes the sting out of it a little bit. Good dude and pretty cool move on his part to voice support for Dak. I think another poster said that with him acting this way and Garrett coming to check on Dak it's getting hard to hate the Giants. I agree. This was handled way different than Irvin going limp in Philadelphia back in the day. Giants and Garrett showed a lot of class. It's cool to see tha .

On top of being an unethical cheater who obviously supported Bounty-gate, you’re also a transphobe and a homophobe.

EMPLOY THE BAN HAMMER!!

500 million.. talk about exaggerating.. I’m pretty sure everybody on this forum would break their own ankle, that is clearly going to heal itself in 4-6 months for, 500 million..
Truly sad THIS is what you got from this thread.

We all know you hate Dak, let it go.

This is cool and all. But this is why I don't like the NFL anymore. There are no more rivalries. No more of players hating other players. The Cowboys V Red...Washington Football Team (that sounds so wrong) rivalry is dead.

Ugh, I HATE the Giants, but, they're making it hard for me to do that this week. Between Garrett and Logan with his sincere apology, there is a lot of class coming out of that organization this week.
Dag nabbit,, you made me go and look, and I have no desire to like anything from that camp, but I get it.. Im such a better reformed more understanding human now. :D

To some degree things have changed because free agency. Players don't spend their entire careers to one franchise often. But I still see plenty of rivalry.
