Dalton is okay....nothing more.
If he was a top passer in the NFL, he wouldn’t have been sitting around in free agency. The Bengals had to release him because with all the QB starved teams in the NFL, no one even offered a 7th rounder.

Guys in the media get paid to create headlines....period.

Anyone comparing passer rating or completion % would definitely need to time adjust some.

But that Dak was in his 5th year, eve higher numbers would boosted up slightly.

Daks currently is 14th in passer rating. 10 years ago, that. Number might be top 2.

going to make a guess here and say that even at his older and declined age, Dalton will have a higher rating this year than his career average,

I like Andy Dalton, but stop... please stop. I can't imagine if you asked any coach in the entire league - hey, you want Andy Dalton or Dak Prescott for the next few years? No one would say they choose Andy. It wouldn't happen. Stop this ridiculousness. I am rooting for Dalton and I like the guy. But, this is insane.

ask them who's contract they would take, and that is the guy they would pick up, unless they didn't care about having a good team.

Interesting math you are using there.. 9-7, 10-6, 8-8 .. what formula did you use to determine that was .500 ball? My calculator can't seem to come up with that number.
