That Dalton might have better arm talent does not mean he’s a better passer. Jeff George had phenomenal arm talents. Drew Brees lacked arm strength. Guess which one is going to Canton?
Exactly. Dalton undoubtedly has better arm talent but that doesn’t necessarily make him the better QB.

If Isaiah Stanback said it, it must be true.

Seriously, he may be right.

Dak threw some balls on Sunday that got Lamb smacked pretty good and Cooper in prior weeks.

Just the small sample size we saw from Andy - he placed the ball a bit better, IMO. We’ll see how he does in an entire game this week.

Maybe we should have a conversation with AJ Green, and Tyler Eifert about Dalton's ball placement..

Just sayin..

There is not One statistical category where Dalton is better not even playoff wins . Ridiculous statement.

No but if they ever start a "throwing the ball into the square in shorts with no rush" league he would be a top 5 pick.

I don’t care who is better. If Dalton leads this team to a SB win, I’ll be a happy camper.

So the defense won't be hitting against Dalton's ball placement? Wow.

Accuracy is the most overrated trait for a qb. With enough practice even 5 th graders can throw perfect spiraled footballs into ball nets.

A quarterback really only needs 3 things to separate themselves from the average

1. Anticipation
2. Confidence
3. Spatial awareness of whose where inside (and out) the pocket

Can’t tell you how many skill guys I’ve seen when I went to TCU that could throw a deep ball at one moving guy just as well as our quarterbacks. They’d look like a deer in the headlights with 5 guys with a combined weight of almost a ton trying to take their head off though

It’s like looking at a female beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In my opinion right now I would agree that Dalton is a more polished passer than Dak only by a smidgen, but in my opinion Dalton is a better runner than Dak. Dak is not a pure running QB. He does not run fluidly he runs like a big lumbering FB/LB. Watch how graceful Dalton looks compared to Dak. Dak is really a pocket passer that can run

No matter how Dalton performs, you gotta figure he would do much better with Jarwin, Smith and Collins playing.

Don't forget that part.

dak is definitely a better runner, but I don’t know that you can say dalton is superior as a passer and reading defense....if he was so much better he wouldn’t be a back up to a top 10 qb....again it’s debatable but If was so superior don’t you think he would have been starting somewhere this season?

Dalton is not that much better. I'm also a fan of Dalton. Yes his a better passer. Not by much.

Agreed. Pocket awareness is something that Dak could work on and from reports, Dalton lacks as well. I haven't watched enough of Dalton but his stats when under pressure are not good.

Who cares what I. Stanback thinks? This is the equivalent of Matt Moore saying Earl Thomas isn't a good safety. Or Jesse Holley saying Cooper doesn't run good routes. Who cares?

All QBs do the same thing. Romo did it, too. Those passes to Lamb weren’t bad placement. There is sometimes a price to pay when catching passes in the muddle of the field. Lamb did a great job of hanging onto the ball.
