Complaint about defensive scheme

What if we change our defensive scheme and technique when there are no OTA’s, no preseason, a very limited training camp and we don’t bring in new players or draft players that will fit our new scheme? Great Idea coaches.

They are professionals and they spend all week studying and practicing. It's their job and they get millions of dollars to figure it out.

Figure it out.

There is no reason to be as bad as we are.

I will wait longer before I judge it overall.

I do not like what I see for now. But there are many injuries as well. The D is complex to learn from what I read. So they really need complete off season to learn it more.
right. now it is trial by fire.
Brown just returned fro IR. LVE, Lee, Awuzie should all be back soon. Gregory will be ready also.

It may be complex, but as far as the run defense goes they should be much better. Poe who gets a lot of hate here is a 2gapping nose and that is what the other interior guys are doing as well. The problem is that the DEs outside don't always set the edge and crash inside busy trying to make a play which allows the RBs to have space to work outside. Then on top of that when they do set the edge and the interior guys take up blocks as they should the LBs aren't aggressive enough to take advantage of the clean looks they get to make a play and wait to be blocked. If they take care of the run then that's when they can T off on the pass. Like DLaw said w while back Only if you stop the run, do you earn the privilege of rushing the passer.

I posted the same thing yesterday, not only are the de playing hero ball, they're more susceptible to bootlegs and reverses. The other teams oc sees it on film.

Someone so tell our de just do your job and contain first.

we are not a 4-3, nor a 3-4, I think we are a 3.5-3.5, caught in the middle of nowhere and looking like incompetent fools.

totally 100% exactly what i have been saying...so stupid of their wisdom right out of the gate...makes me question their wisdom in approaching how to adjust going forward?
