Hill- 33.6 (117th worst graded DT in the entire league)
Gallimore- 37.6 not enough snaps to rank, but really bad

I wasn't joking when I said Gallimore is another version of Hill. Biggest difference being attitude. Very similar traits (great first step, hustler) and poor habits (FBI, gap discipline). Both catch your eye with quickness off the snap, but if you watch them all the way throughout the play, you see they have no idea what to do after that initial explosion.

Same friggen dude.

I didn't notice Mcgovern getting a snap.

Did he step in for someone last game?

Anyone who's seen Hill play this year as opposed to last year can see an improvement. Doesn't mean PFF is wrong.
An improvement in what? Snap counts?

He has been given more of an opportunity due to poor depth at his position (Front Office with blinders on as usual) .He has not played well at all. He played in just 11% of defensive snaps in 7 games last year and had 5 tackles. He's played way more snaps this year (58%) in 5 games and that has resulted in 11 whole tackles.

You guys have to stop lowering the bar with players on this team.

Chido isn’t a pro bowler but he can at least play in the league. Look forward to having him back! Also I was so happy the cowboys invested in DT in the offseason with McCoy, Poe and Gallimore, it just hasn’t worked out. Need some help inside!

You "guys" need to stop overhyping the talent on this team just because they play for the glorious Dallas Cowboys. Hill was not a good player before he got here. He was a guy who was a project who they felt has potential. And to answer your question eh offered far more in pass rushing than he did last year. He showed a huge jump there.

And also let's accurately read what I ACTUALLY said. I never ONCE said he played "well". This rant you went on was off based and not warranted.

PFF grades are a freaking joke

What is the next best things to grade the caliber of players? The pro bowl? LMAO. PFF isn't perfect, nothing is by the way, but still the most accurate assessment of every player that plays snaps that's out there.

These are interesting and thank you for taking the time to share with us, Hennessy.

I have to say most, if not all teams in the NFL would trade for our receiving corps over their own. That fact alone makes these numbers seem inaccurate.

That's the thing. People say PFF sucks..fair enough but what's better? This is probably the best you can get as far as grading talent. Its never going to be a flawless system.
