Does Dalton do anything better than Dak?

Some guys are technically good, and other's are gamers. Dak is a gamer, they just have to work on getting him off to a fast start. Technically, Dalton is probably better, but in games, meh. Right now is the time for Dak to sit back, watch, and pick up a few things that he's never had the opportunity to pick up since he's always played. If Dalton kicks butt, then we have a good problem on deck with two great QBs. Trade bait for either.

Hmmm...you might have an excellent point! But couldn't he have done this ANY time?

Stepping up into the pocket. This bugged me about Dak, he could easily slide up and over on a lot of pressure downs but he just continues to drop back or stay in the the thick instead of simply moving up.

Dalton may be better on some anticipation throws and on flat passes, but Dak is still the better player overall.

Ah...I see....you enjoy leaking on people. What an odd past time. But hey...have at it.

(Hmm...interesting...confessing to being an outright troll. I see, I get it now. I don't condone it but I get it. . )
You don’t register on my radar until you pop your weasel head up for me to pop it when you seek out one of my comments, so quit acting like some victim. I don’t mind playing whack-a-cowboy lover

You engage conversation with me often enough to know I occupy enough time in that noggin of yours to negatively effect your sensitive feelings.

We had a one point lead and was either in the RZ or right outside it when Dak got injured to take a larger lead. Dalton had to make a comeback because he fumbled the ball and failed to score on any of his other drives.
The fumble was on the rookie centre for my money.

So are interior offensive lineman in the NFL athletic?

Im. sorry you’re struggling so much with this. It’s a gorgeous weekend though, so I won’t be entertaining it. Take care!

Come on....we're all doing the same thing. It's why we are here. Some more...fervently...than others, for sure.

EVERYBODY...including you....experts.

Here's the difference. When I say something most of the time I'm repeating what a coach or player has said or has been reported that they said or use actual stats.. You are playing wannabe coach. When I do express an opinion I say I think or I believe or my opinion is, I don't say things like I see a problem with Prescott's handoffs like I'm a coach after watching film that shows hundreds of Prescott handoffs.

It absolutely was the center's fault, Dalton wasn't even expecting the snap yet.

That's funny since he called the snap count and when it was snapped everyone else on offense started to do what they were to do for that play. I'd be more inclined to believe that if Dalton hasn't already led the league twice for most fumbles by QB in a season. He's done that same exact thing to many times to say he wasn't ready for it.

The perception will be that Dalton can't make as many plays as Dak.

Indirectly, this may be a benefit to us if it gets Zeke up and running.
That will work against the scrub teams we have coming up but not against the better teams who have a good offense and at least a mediocre defense. Our defense isn’t going to win a shoot out by running the ball against a good offense.

I agree this makeshift o-line combined with this defense doesn't spell ball control offense to me....

He may not have been ready for it, but that wasn't the center's fault. Everybody fired off the ball at the snap except him. I will chalk it up to rust and having gotten out of the habit of dealing with the 7 very large men looking at you like wolves eyeing a fresh steak while trying to assess what the defense is doing AND while taking the snap.

I think it's fair to say Dalton may be better on the short stuff. I do worry about his fastball to the boundaries though. That one he threw behind Cooper should have been a pick 6 if the DB could catch. That thing took forever to get there. Reminded me of young Romo, whose ball used to float like nobody's business early in his career.

I think Dalton's better at anticipatory throws. Dak seems to wait until the receiver is open too much before pulling the trigger (he's gotten better but can still improve). I feel like Andy will actually throw receivers open more than Dak. Andy may be more accurate too.

Well I think they can still do well passing it but they will be forced to pass more than run against better teams because because we’ll get behind too quickly with this defense.

In other words, I think those people who think we can just run the ball and control the clock may be right against the weaker teams and start saying “told ya so” or “feed ewok” will be in for a rude surprise when we play the stronger offenses.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad that we have the easiest strength of schedule left in the league. I hope the players and coaches don’t become lulled into a false sense of security by doing something like running the ball all the time and then get caught off guard when the games matter and competition picks up.

You sound like little kid trying to make up excuses why the last jellybean was taken. This is Dalton's TENTH season. He started his first NINE seasons and if he forgets what defensive players look like after that then he no longer belongs in the NFL. Again he called the snap count in the huddle and if he forgets that between walking from the huddle to the line of scrimmage that also shows he no longer belongs in the NFL. Why don't you say he also had nightmares about zombies the night before and so he didn't get enough sleep while you're at it.
