Does Dalton do anything better than Dak?

We had a one point lead and was either in the RZ or right outside it when Dak got injured to take a larger lead. Dalton had to make a comeback because he fumbled the ball and failed to score on any of his other drives.

Dak had to comeback too because he threw a pick 6 in the game...what's your point?

You can say “personal stats” if it makes you feel better.
Doesn’t need to make me feel any way. You seem to have an issue with stats. Stats are just a reflection of what occurs on the field. There isn’t a problem with stats except people misuse them.

In this case of fumbles you seemingly had an issue with, it is a simple count. If someone claims a player leads the league in fumbles we can take a look at the stats you hate so much and see if they are telling the truth or lying.

Oh yes, STATS. I think the Cowboy’s won/loss record shows just how little stats translate to wins in the Cowboy’s situation.
No, it doesn't. We the worst D in the NFL. You're simply looking at the wrong stats.

Here's the difference. When I say something most of the time I'm repeating what a coach or player has said or has been reported that they said or use actual stats.. You are playing wannabe coach. When I do express an opinion I say I think or I believe or my opinion is, I don't say things like I see a problem with Prescott's handoffs like I'm a coach after watching film that shows hundreds of Prescott handoffs.

This guy admits he's just a parrot with no original thoughts esp of its coach junk talk to back up his football crush Dak. Shameful. We are truly turning into the dang on Dallas DakBoys.

Both sides of this silly argument cite "experts" to back up their belief. There really is nothing wrong with that. The bottom line is that this team will have to win a different way with Dalton than it did with Dak. It can be done but it's going to look different. As long as it wins I don't really care. People are entitled to believe whatever the f they wanna believe. I just want my team to win. Yall can argue about who has better hair or who looks better in blue till the cows come home. Um rootin for Dalton ball out.. Period.

Whats your point? Who said nobody ever cites experts? That's not what I said. Well if you just want the team to win and you don't care about the back and forth there really is no need to jump in something that doesn't involve you. I'm lost on that one to be honest but hey its a free site do what you want.

Ummm.. good question.. who said you did? You and that strawman having a good argument? "Need" is not a word I would use to describe anything that goes on here.. I assume we all jump into whatever we jump into because we want to..

You implied such or else your wannabe smart self had no reason to quote me on this topic. Yeah like I said I don't get it jumping in when you said you don't care but its obvious you do. I wish you DakBoys just be honest.

Dalton will have a chance to prove himself.

The results will be evident for all of us to see, one way or the other.

I hope he plays well and keeps the offense ranked #1. We’ll need that given our bad defense.

I hope so,,, the once vaunted OL is in shambles so we may just get a demonstration in short quick passes.

I imagine you don "get" a lot of things. You said something that amused me in its pure irony. You attacked a man for doing something literally everyone here does. Nothing more nothing less. Assigning anymore importance to it than that is a fool's errand. But don't let me hold you up. Carry on with it.

I imagine you need me not to get a lot of things so your junk premise can be correct. If you weren't on at narcotic you wouldn't been amused because what you're trying to say wasn't my point. No that's not why I attacked him but when you play captain save a poster you end up saying silly things like this. As for the faux IG philosophy save it.

Besides arm strength, accuracy, touch, pocket presence, footwork, reading the field and making anticipatory throws, I can't think of a thing Dalton does better.

it has been mentioned that the offense will have to be tweaked to some degree now, like fewer if any RPO's, etc. With that, if certain plays are being pulled out, is there an opportunity to put more plays in that are Dalton's bread and butter? If so, what are they? What are his strenghts that can be played to? West Coast stuff?

I haven't watched Dalton enough to form an educated opinion, but from just what I've seen, I think he puts the ball out in front of the receiver better when they are crossing the field. IMO, this is one of Dak's weakest area; he throws into the receiver or behind them on crossing-type patterns, which causes them to have to slow down or reach back for the ball instead of being able to use their momentum for YAC.
