I started threads on the subject of firing McCarthy after the Browns loss.

This team plays undisciplined, uninspired, and just flat out awful.

There is nothing encouraging about him as the head coach. And don't give him excuses about the injuries. Every team is facing injuries.

After Zeke's first fumble (terrible ball security), I would expect a coach to get in his face and at least have a talking with him, which may have prevented the second fumble.

Part ways with him now. He's done nothing in 6 weeks to suggest he could take a team anywhere.

He's done in the NFL.

I'll start a thread like this after every week for the rest of the season.

I am not all opposed to that...if we have another couple of defensive outings like this, Nolan is fired for sure...

then at the end of the year, just walk away from McCarthy....go get Urban...

Im actually fine with that. Get all the losers out of here. He can take Zeke, Lawrence, Dalton, and Jaylon with him.

I for one agree wholeheartedly. He does not need an offseason. Nor a training camp. Nor less injuries.
He is not a first year coach but has been coaching for 2 decades and won a trophy doing so.

He is no more or less limited by the global pandemic than any of the other 31 teams who faced all the same challenges.

He shouldn't have been hired in the first place and should be fired tomorrow.

It's almost a dead heat nowadays as to what this team is because it ain't the Cowboys. Here it's either the Dallas Daksters or Dallas Excuse Makers. One or the other. It ain't Cowboys.

He ain't a part of the solution, he IS a part of the problem.

I was really hoping Jerry would hire Matt Ruhle or some other Sean McVay type coach that could better relate to the players and bring in younger non-retread dinosaur coordinators.

Jerry flat out said he wants to "win now" with experienced people. It's working out completely opposite. It's almost comical if you think about it. Every decision the Joneses talk themselves into, they should just start doing the opposite. We'd all be better off.

He went ape stick on the worst call of the year on Lamb. It’s the mask. If he’s gonna go down he should go down his way and take over play calling from that lunatic Moore.
You’re right there. I did forget about his reaction to the blatant missed PI. I guess I just miss those older, fiery coaches.

If McCarthy doesn't pan out then we're doomed in the Jerry Era (we probably are anyway). He is the last ditch effort...a proven coach who could command Jerry's respect and learn to work with him and Stephen. We know Jerry is never going to give up full control again like he did with Parcells.
