'Yeah trust Worley is not playing well but this whole defense does stuff like this. You can look at footage from all our games and find vets playing lost. If it was one or two guys I could understand it but when its the whole defense? I have to point to the head of the snake.

The other players know what the coverage is supposed to be. LVE and Lewis are calling responsibility out. Worley doesn’t stay true to the call. Instead of playing deep zone he tries to jump route. That’s on him not on Nolan.

Thought they were supposed to play press?

What happened to that...or is it being left out as part of the excuses?

Nah we have really bad players on defense that dont care to learn how to play football. Like my man DB said its an easy cover 3 call. Some things are beyond coaching.

Yes but why does this continue to happen? There have been egregious busted coverages in literally every game. Ultimately that still points back to the coaching of the unit.

Does it? I never thought the Nolan hire was gonna set the world on fire, but all I've seen for 6 weeks is busted assignments. How much simpler does Nolan need to make it? And, why does the Rookie CB seem to get it more than the vets? Diggs normally gets beat just by good plays whereas everyone else seems to get beat from blown assignments. Could be because Digs played in a complex scheme in college............meaning, once again, we need smarter players.

Understood, but if these same guys played completely different with MAranelli.......something needed to happen. If they are too stupid to learn than that's on the evaluators...but you can argue that everyone is too stupid to learn Nolan defense because all his defenses suck.

Worley is one of the worst corners I have ever seen. The defense as a whole is bad but Worley is on another level. Another sad part is Jourdan Lewis took huge steps back this year. Still have some hope for Diggs but hope this year doesn’t absolutely shatter his confidence.

In his defense he didnt have any talent in atlanta and sure as hell doesnt have any talent here. Think about this 4 of our D lineman probably wont even be in the league next year along with a couple of our dbs. Our defense needs a 90% turnover. You gotta let this staff grt players before throwing them out. These are garrett marinelli guys and they are dumb and they suck

Players will care when there is accountability and consequences for poor play. Too many fat cat, high priced players loafing on this team and getting away with it. The inmates are running the asylum and Uncle Jerrah continues to reward and enable under-achievement.

The product you see on the field is a direct result of the behaviors you tolerate at practice, in meeting rooms, and in the locker room. Jerrah has created a country club atmosphere that creates and fosters entitled, pampered, ego-driven people. In other words, he is reproducing exactly what he is as the owner/GM-- which is why nothing will truly change until he is gone.
