Yeah this team needs a wrecking crew. McCarthy has been out-coached, no doubt, but he isn’t worse than Garrett.

Let’s name names. Zeke Elliott, Tank Lawrence, Jaylon Smith, all got new contracts and their level of play has been wretched. The offensive line was built for 2016, it needs to be rebuilt from scratch. The defense in general is probably the worst we have seen in years.

Turning on your coach after 6 weeks is the height of disloyalty. McCarthy is going to need to crack some heads and tighten up the ship.

In all fairness, there are 53 players on the team, plus the practice squad. Slater needs to name the total number of players who have complained. If it's 3-4 total, that not remotely a majority. But probably the 3-4 chronic grippers, over paid and under achievers.

They are getting whooped on the field and calling out the coaches? That's a culture problem fellas. Coach Mac needs to shut this down as Jimmy would have back in the day.
They'll be going over McCarthy's head straight to Jerry........

Stand back. It's gonna blow.

Good...we need a blow-up so we can finally rebuild. I don't know if McCarthy is the guy but I trust him more than this current cast of clowns who have underachieved under Garrett for the last 10 years. Clean the locker room out...if these players don't like it then go jump ship to the Raiders or NYG like some of the other players.
The CFL is hiring.

I’ve been saying this since last year.

this team is more toxic than a lake of biomedical toxic waste.
Never seen anything like this. What makes it worse is Jerry let’s it fester year after year, and the toxicity grows. It’s going to grow so toxic, no one will want to play for the Dallas Cowboys anymore. Maybe to cash the check, but the scrutiny that will come their way will be massive and legendary. We all saw what happened to D-Law when people started calling him out. He blew. Jaylon is oblivious. And Zeke simply doesn’t care. The cycle will start all over again when we draft new players. We’re already seeing it in CeeDee and Trevon Diggs.

Yeah, maybe...just maybe...it's the players.

This. So much this.

Look, I’m not sold on this new staff at all, but a lot of this does smell of players whose egos are damaged and who don’t like being held accountable by this new staff.

Again, I can’t reiterate enough that this new staff could be a disaster. But we have long suspected our players are too accustomed to a country-club, zero-accountability atmosphere.

Everyone wants to blame either the players or coaches, but the fault lies first and foremost with Jerry and Stephen Jones. They’ve created a team culture where you go to the media for everything. Nothing is kept in house. Publicity is priority #1. It’s not surprising that the players would do this with the circus atmosphere that management has instilled.

i think the FEW comments from very small faction of players are the ones that were very loyal to Garett and dont like the changes the new staff have brought in..being resistant to change and to follow direction is what starts the whispers that coach has lost his players..

i think losing has caused this and players will star to be purged that are not fitting in..its slow process to cut players, draft and acquire new ones to get your system up and running..

expectations to think it would be seamless was probably a mistake by fans and maybe even some around the team..
Or......
This group is completely overrated and Garrett was the glue that held them together enough to overachieve for the talent they actually have.

Yep you've been calling it out. By "it" I mean the diseased soft culture in this locker room. It's a sickness.
