Would be much more cap friendly, but man it would be tempting to trade for a kings ransom

truth is it’s not that bad. Get HEALTHY, have a great draft, fix the secondary, let all those free agents in the secondary go work at McDonald’s because no one will sign them. The Cowboys will come into 2021 with a full offseason in the new system and a hungry team.

Yeah probably I would. That would give you 5 years with a cheap QB again to try and build a winner. Plus you would get an extra 3rd round pick for Dak. I say this as a Dak fan, let him go somewhere that he has a chance to win something because this team right now is a dang poop show if ever there was one.

Then again if you had the 1st pick you could keep Dak and leverage that pick into at least a couple of other 1st round picks for the next couple of years....

Yeah, in a heartbeat. I love Dak but not to the tune of 40 million a year. We got to get out of the habit of paying elite money to non elite players. If we get the first pick, blow up the roster and rebuild.

they had the lead going into the 4th qtr in many of those loses.
what they lacked in talent...they made up for in gutts.
that was a young team that hadn't learned how to put games away.
i don't recall ANY players who questioned Landry....that came from the media.
that team easily could have won 9 or 10 games if the ball bounces a certain way.
7 loses were by 8pts or less.
the cleveland game and the road game in philly are still under my skin.
