I knew nothing would change when Kellen Moore wasn't fired with Garrett

I have no issue with Moore aside from running too much on first down.

Also, everytime Zeke peels off a good run (10+ yards) he always goes right back to him. Play the pass off that action, so damn predictable.

I can not predict what Jerrah will do.

Who can?

It's all a mess and this has only been the last 60 days we have been able to see what has happened.

McCarthy has coughed a hairball.

This is going to require a lot to fix what has happened.
We can base things off history. He doesn't like to admit mistake or pay coaches to not coach.

He would rather waste seasons by staying in denial.

I just now thought of something....I hope this doesnt make him think even more that "his way" is that much better since he allowed MM to hire his staff (well except for the puppet in the pocket that he thinks no one noticed) and it didnt go well.

But yeah, who knows what he may do.

I have a bad feeling this gets worse before better....and better is a very long way off.

That defeated the whole purpose of hiring a new coach since he couldnt bring in all his own people. I dont know how that clown Moore still has a job and the offense continues to fail every week. I dont expect to see any changes in the offense as long as that fool is still the offensive coordinator.
Moore is not the issue my guy

Jerry at interview with MM , "what do you think of KM as a OC?" MM "he's a real smart guy if I were the HC he would be my #1 choice for OC I have watched every play and that boy genius is just incredible you were right in your evaluation of him Mr. Jones" or some thing along those lines.

I didn't "know" it but I was afraid of it. It has nothing to do with scheme but more with a coach being able to have control of the team. Moore being here has the Joneses fingerprints all over it.

Critiques of Moore are totally misguided. He's been excellent.

This board is just way too obsessed with the run game and needs to accept the fact that running or not running the ball has absolutely nothing to do with the way the season has played out.

Not in opening the offense up downfield.

Why is it that the Moore-led offense produced staggering numbers in almost every offensive statistical category through the first 4 games—when they actually had their starting VERY GOOD QB and a decent-to-good offensive line—and now all of a sudden he’s trash because he’s having to work with a patchwork of offensive linemen who could potentially get the backup QB killed? Granted, that side screen is always too slow in developing and has to go. Other than that, Moore has NOT been the problem. Sad that you can’t see the obvious.

for those of you who are calling kellen moore the best thing since sliced bread .

are you not seeing the games !?

we cant keep up until late 3rd quarter , when we are way behind and the opposing defense is too busy celebrating the win .

Then, if we do make a comeback in garbage time , the other team starts playing again and its game over. Its like watching a kid play with his food .

Kellen repeatedly makes bone headed calls like screens in 3rd and longs, or double reversal runs . Boy wonder thinks this is peewee ?!

Kid Dinamite doesnt establish the run from the beggining , he calls massive passing ..., and when we are far behind, its too late to start the rush .

He sucks . Ole Jerrah did this to MM, and now we are stuck with "Kid Dynomite" ... geez .

This. Dalton actually didn't look too bad last night. 6 drops, 1 for an easy TD, Zeke putting the ball on the ground 2x, defense non existent, and an offensive line that would struggle at the college level...yikes.

Outside of some kind of...hell, a miracle I guess...this team is dead on arrival. There's no fixing it this season. Hopefully the younger guys will get some experience and some players will emerge that can contribute next year, but yeah, this team is broken.
Since we're capturing all that went bad.....do the 2 ints go unnoticed.....regardless of a missed call by Ref on one and a few extras the Cards missed?......and Andy didn't look bad?

My fan-flimsy assessment of the current state of the Cowboys is as follows:

We are decimated by injury, this team is not foundationally sound or effective right now in any phase - except kicking field goals.

There is no such thing as instant new defensive scheme playing competency, it will take a football season.

Do we have enough defensive speed or is hesitancy or bewilderment slowing our players down?

Dalton is adequate but not great as a our starting quarterback right now, likely due to this patchwork offensive line.

Kellen Moore is creative but not necessarily opportunistically play-calling shrewd.

McCarthy may be(former head coach) Wade Phillips like, over-engaged, (in this case offensive repertoire) under-engaged with defense, special teams.

Is McCarthy overly enamored with football analytics, commonly known as applying/manipulating tendencies?
How does that work if the majority of your players can't individually and collectively perform as a unit?

Of all the things to complain about.

The offense was the one holdover from last year and the only thing that was actually working. The entire offensive line has been replaced by backups. Did you figure that in?

With what McCarthy has brought in has failed incredibly. All time bad. 50 years bad. The second worse defense in the league is twice as good as the Cowboys D. And you complain about the offense that 75% of the starters are backups.
