Clapper players are probably upset at MM because he's more strict than JG.

Remember one of the things the Jones boys said after getting rid of JG was that they wanted a HC who would enforce accountability.

Like I said in another thread, if you’re going to say things in the media, sack up and put your name on it. Don’t talk strong and pound your chest and then say “ keep that anonymous”

I wish MM had stated privately, to the team, that he knows who the source(s) are..and I'm sure he does. He should also state that he'll give "the sources" 1 day to come speak with him "man to man" or "the sources" will be benched.

You really don't have to fire or cut them, a player benched is actually (besides still getting a paycheck) worse off since the league will see it as this player(s) either are not good enough, don't hustle enough or are a locker room cancer which will affect their future career contracts, in some cases, to the tune of millions of dollars.

Remember The Tuna didn't allow players to speak to the press without his permission. He ruled with an iron fist and when he left Jerry was quoted as saying it's great not to be “Walking on Eggshells” anymore. BP had the power and authority over the players.

Mike M. better take control of this or he will never be effective. When I say control I mean he has to have an iron fist with the players AND not allow JJ to interfere. He has to ignore Jerry's "advice" when necessary, right up to the point of forcing Jerry's hand in firing him. Jerry is cheap and hates firing coaches, who happen to have guaranteed contracts.

Or, things will stay the same and we'll be talking about the same things on this board for years to come, hopefully with less fans and the Cowboys get bumped down on the Forbes list.
