Mephisto could also a lead in to the Loki Disney series,..... or maybe a near future Thor and Sif movie ?..

BTW, .. Word was Namor the Sub Mariner was rumored to be the main Villain in what was going to be a sequel to an upcoming Black Panther 2 film ...until sadly Chadwick Bosman's untimely death.. Now its' going to be quite a wait until a new T'Challa/Black Panther is re-cast. as i've heard.

Unfortunately, both movies were poor adaptations of the classic comic book story.

To make matters worse, the same guy, who co-wrote The Last Stand, directed Dark Phoenix. Pretty bad having two shots at getting the adaptation right and flubbing it both times. :banghead:

I can see why I missed her even though I'm pretty sure I saw those X men movies but not the Dark Phoenix one :facepalm:

I remember J Law looking good as Mystique but that's about it in the memory bank. I remember this phase of X Men movies coming out and just not getting it. They could've seen Avengers success if they did it right. But yeah...

Rebecca Romijn and Jennifer Lawrence have made it tough on whomever plays the next incarnation of Mystique. That actress must fill in some pretty big shoes. And all-body makeup too. :muttley:
