Again, why would people be surprised if we lost? New coaching staff, new coaching scheme, new coaching standard, severe injuries to key players in key positions, un-inspired and un-motivated team, i can go on. I'm not going to be surprised if we lose, I am expecting it. With such a drastic change to our franchise this off-season, with the addition of the covid crisis...the players are still un-familiar and not comfortable with the coaches. I am truly appalled by how many fans in here expect positive results so quickly. They had stability for a very long time in Dallas. This is what happens when there is drastic change. This year is about familiarity and adapting to change. There are growing pains with it. Many of you asked for change, this is a normal result of change. Sport franchises go through it all the time. Sometimes you must endure pain to grow and learn. Chill, relax. Give MM sometime to adapt his strategy and blueprint into this franchise. Most of you should know that will not happen overnight.

Mind you, under Jimmy Johnson, we went 1-15. We traded Herschel and look what happened. Even if we can't pull that move off, perhaps if we can make A sell move at the deadline, maybe we can take what's likely a 4-12 season and turn it into a bright future going on. Oh, and the second season with Jimmy was 6-10. Not a great record either. I don't suppose many Cowboys fans wanted Jimmy fired during that time. Especially with what came next. Perhaps 4-12 might be for the best for our team?

It might be for the best..it’s not MM fault either. He was hired by our clown owner/gm.

Jerry should step down and hire Troy Aikman to turn the ship around. But he’ll never do it because Aikman called him out publicly and he can’t have that.

Even if he doesn't step down, if Jerry sells a few players for picks, we might be able to make a remake of the 1989 Cowboys. Use this season to start over.

Like last years Jets? Or was that a different rock bottom?

The Jets finished 7-9 after losing 3 no-chance games with a 4th QB they found on a street corner. The Cowboys went 8-8.

The myth is/was that the Cowboys were sooooo much better.

If people go nuclear and get surprised when we lose, that’s on them for being that dumb. It’s clear this team is done, and if you can’t see that, you are blind. Even in this horrendous, putrid division. We’re the worst team in the division and it’s not even close. We’re going to lose this coming Sunday. And I will just laugh. Cause that’s all I can do at this point. Might not be a blowout, but we will lose. I’d put money on the books for it. 2-14 incoming. I’ve predicted it before and I can predict it now.

I’d rather be 2-14 than 8-8 again

give me hot or give me cold...I’m just so sick of Luke warm

Yep, I feel the same way....................either want to be really good or really bad, no half way so so .500 record.

And no, I dont want to win the division at 6-10 either and be a sacrificial lamb in the first round, would much rather have a top 10 pick.

For me, rock bottom was 3-13 under Landry, followed by 1-15 under Jimmy.
Next closest was when Romo was hurt and we ran out Weeden and Cassell, etc. and the offense was abysmal. This season is all about the defense and injuries.

If Dak and the OL were still in tack, we would have hope.
If the defense could occasionally present a formidable game, we would have hope.

At present, I have no hope....but we have ten more games to play. Like the 3-13 and 1-15 seasons, I will continue to watch and hope, if only to see someone’s testicles drop and find a reason or two to hope next season.
Keep an eye on Zeke, if his testicles are as important as the football then they will be dropped.

What makes you think Troy Aikman would be a good GM?

I’m 100% serious... if Dallas looses to The Washington whatever’s, I’m done for the season.... idgaf, fire whatever coach, trade/release whatever player idgaf... fix it...
Agreed but nothing will change... unless Jerrah decides to make changes.

You can blame the coaches all you want but when you're a player at this level, some things should be taken for granted. As in your ability to play hard on every down not when you feel like it.

If I were the owner of this team, I would have demanded that Woods be thrown off the team for his comments, instead of burying my head in the sand.
Old Botox brain Jerrah and his idiot son mini me would draw the line and say enough.

But that’s wishful thinking as past history tells us it well never happen

Hate to say it but this is exactly the type of game the cowboys will win and then the Super Bowl talk will be back on....
