Wish we had more players with fire on this team like Dez, instead of a team of cupcakes that doesn't care about winning. They only care about the $$$$$$$$

I’ll always cheer for 88 like I always will for Beasley

Im a fan of Dez but I do t think he would have anywhere close to the 2013/14 numbers. I see his training vids and it just looks lost a lot of explosion when he runs routes. I really think the injury took a lot from him

It's possible but I know from experience that with proper training you can be every bit as fast in your early 30's as in your early 20's. The difference is recovery time. The 20 year old can run 20 9 routes in a game and barely break a sweat. The 30 year old can run maybe 10 and need oxygen for anything more than that. But he can run those 10 9 route every bit as fast as the 20 year old runs his. So the smart coach doesn't ask the 30 year old to run 20 9 routes. He picks his spots ..

They also got Yannick today. Wouldn't it be nice to have a real GM?

We say that but they are going to lose some talent next offseason. They are currently 6 million over the salary cap and free agents next season are:

Judon
Yannick
Ronny Stanley

Orlando Brown Jr the year after.

In the mist of all of this they have to sign Lamar Jackson as well. If he's able to obtain all those guys and bring in talent...he's GM of the decade lol.

Hell before we drafted Lamb I would have been happy to have Dez as our WR3. Matching Dez up against somebody's 3rd corner or a safety would be a dream come true for any offense. And how much better would our red zone offense look with that beast to throw it up to down close?
I think it is possible that you are over rating Dez’ current abilities.

C'mon fam we really go to act like the Ravens won't reload? Plus their focus is winning a title this season. If they do that, nobody will care about cap issues.

Sure it's possible.. but the good news is we get to find out in a minute. I usually just look at my own experience. I ran my PR in the 400 meters at age 32 and my best 100 meters at age 35. I never could get anywhere near my long jump bests after college but that's probably because I was 50 pounds heavier as much as anything else. Gravity was against me when it came to flying through the air.. but those bigger, stronger leg muscles absolutely could propel me along the ground faster than I was able to attain in my early 20's. I figure if I could run faster in my 30's training 4 days a week on my lunch break for an hour and a half, a guy who is able to afford the best nutrition and personal trainers doing it 4-5 hours a day can probably do so too.

Not true. Dez had 136 targets in 2014. He had 72 in 9 games in 2015, 96 in 13 games in 2016 and 132 in a full season in 2017. His catch rate is what actually went down. 64% in 2014, 43% in 2015, 52% in 2016 and 52% in 2017. So they were still throwing to him at basically the same clip, he just wasn't catching them.

2014 Romo
2015 Weeden Cassell
2016 Rookie Dak
2017 2nd year Dak

I'm done

Maybe not.. but fast is fast.. I am always hesitant to compare my dominant stint as an all everything flag football star :) to NFL players but I absolutely could feel the difference in how I was able to play other sports once I began that serious speed training. I played 30 and over baseball for a couple of years and there were a number of times I was standing on second base when the outfielder finally gather to throw the ball into the infield. The ability to run really fast is just neat.. I miss it terribly! LOL!
