I have to disagree its top 3 maybe but when your team were the oilers before in a different state different name, you cant claim Earl..

but even if its allowed

Our DC have, had

Tony Dorsett
H.Walker
Emmitt Smith
Murray
Zeke

im going to say we are #1 because its all been on the original DC since 1960

what other teams make the top 5 curious..

Even if we don't count the oilers, they've had some studs: Eddie George, CJ2K, Henry..

Rams are up there too: Dickerson, Faulk, Gurley,

I think it's between Dallas, LA Rams, and Tennesee

Take Zeke off that list. He had one great year. He doesn’t amount to the other RB’s that came before him.

You do realize how close Ezekiel Elliott is to Chris Johnson right now right? You do realize that after 4 years Johnson amassed 5,645 rushing yards to Zeke 5,405 rushing yards; 38 TDs to Zeke 40 TDs; 1,426 rec yards to Zeke 1,619 rec yards and 4 rec TDs to Zeke's 8 rec TDs.

And you do realize it all went down hill for him after year 4 right? I'm fine with taking Zeke off the list, but Johnson doesn't belong either then

Not to mention the fact that the Cowboys are one of 3 teams that have 2 10,000+ yard rushers in their history. The other 2 teams are the Bills (Thurman Thomas, OJ Simpson) and Steelers (Franco Harris, Jerome Bettis).

i realize that but go loo at the great EDDIE George dudes under 4.0 career average and never posted one year better then Zekes best, people wants to remember what they want but EG was more of a plodder volume back then zeke is now..

even henry who late bloomer to the nfl isnt technically better then zeke, zeke has more carries 400plus in the same time frame and has nearly identical YPC 4.8 to 4.6 in zeke

zeke has 3times the receiving yards and Tds one more Td rushing..yards total are close

seems ony are fans cant get passed the hold out or zekes deal..maybe the #4 pick, is that zekes fault, no..they hate on their own players who been nothing short fo great up ntil this season..theres real reason for that

id go Rams , Cowboys then Titans maybe steelers..KC had few great ones as well..

Chris is got homer glasses on and forgot Earl was an oiler not a titan that stuff stays in Houston and EG was plodder volume back with low average YPC far lower then zekes....

Eddie George was not a “plodder back”, whatever the hell that means. He was a bruiser that rarely got stopped for a loss and always fell forward. What you saw with his YPC was for all intents and purposes what he minimally got every play he was called. In his prime he was an absolute beast. His running style didn’t give him a very long prime though.

The Steelers have had quite a stable as well. Harris and Bettis are in the HOF and they’ve had some damn good backs there over the years outside of those two as well.

I'd go Dallas followed by Chicago. Emmitt/TD and Payton/Sayers are all universally considered top 15 RBs of all time. No other franchise can match that.

LA Rams would be in the conversation but Faulk amassed nearly half of his rushing yards while with the Colts.
