and most who arent conspiracy theorist knew this , MM has confirmed this, KM was asked to come back by MM as KM was looking elsewhere, he wasn't under contract..

only fans who try at every opportunity to make this a Jerry thing, it was not..

I think it was s mistake keeping him as it bread crumbs the old staff and well i would have liked a total purge, no excuses no conspiracy's..

Preliminary Damage Control.
In as much as Jerry is not the most pro active and more reactive he is setting himself up well here.

On the one hand, if this year's poor season could be Jerry press manipulated to imply that the loss of Dak and subsequent offensive drop off should have been better coordinated with a seasoned backup, they could say the inexperience of Kellen Moore at such a pivotal position as OC did not meet expectations and to return playcalling authority back to head coach Mike McCarthy is in the best interest of the team moving forward. Moore may or may not be released and serve as this year's scapegoat that way.

On the other hand to the other extreme,

Jerry could go the other way and say that Moore had been identified by himself personally as a possible future HC candidate very early and that coach McCarthy, coach Nolan and staff never were able to establish that necessary bridge to a shared team vision so with that being said,
I introduce to you the next Head Coach of your Dallas Cowboys,
"Kellen Moore."

This way he's got both bases covered.
He's not an entirely senile old man. Didn't make his billions at being a poor business man, lol.

What's the alternative?

Jerry saying "Oh yeah, I told him he will let Kellen Moore call plays because I told the world he was our own version of Sean McVay and I don't want to look stupid"

McCarthy has said publicly at least twice he would never not call plays again.

Then announced one day after his hiring that Kellen Moore would be calling plays.

Later he admitted he was worried about not stepping on Kellen's toes.

Do the common sense math people.

One thing that backs this up is the fact they released the entire coaching staff so they could interview. Moore was already taking the WA OC job to move back to his roots. And McC was allowed to fill out his own staff. I do not think Booger forced Moore on him and would have been just fine having McC OC for the same money.

Why would you think that both Booger and McC would lie about this? For what possible reason?

What I do think happened is that McC wanted him back but not as the full OC but Moore had the leverage and McC knew that the players liked Moore better than any of the ex coaching staff and he needed a friendly face in the room. especially for his QB.

No one "forced" Cee Dee Lamb to wear 88 either. Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

One has nothing to do with the other. Are you trying to insinuate that McCarthy did not want Lamb? Lamb is one of the best players in the 2020 draft without a doubt. Lamb was the right choice.

If McCarthy did not want Lamb then that speaks volumes about McCarthy in a bad way.

I mean,
there's still a couple out there believing Moore was McCarthy's guy all along having never met him, having publicly stated he'd never not call plays again or what was the early season reason, oh yeah, kept for continuity and terminology for Dak.

Then if it's Moore's offense and Nolan's defense,
McCarthy does what again and why is he here?
Once and for all just promote Moore now as interim and fire Mayor McCheese.

Blame it all on Covid and do another fake vetting offseason PR HC search and hire the next yes man.

Just get it over with already.

No I'm not a fortune teller.

Writing on the wall is pretty clear though, lol.

Even worse.....

That tells me that McCarthy tells Jerry what he wants to hear....because he wanted the paycheck.

Loyalty is and always has been #1 when it comes to Big Mac.

He demands loyalty from his underlings, which is why he surrounds himself with a staff that he knows will never challenge him.

And Big Mac has always been supremly loyal to those who write his paychecks.
