MM does not need to call the plays. One of the biggest criticisms of him in GB was that his offense and play calling had become stale and outdated. Much like Moore, he has no ideal how to call plays that gets the running game going.
- i love Kellen's pass designs as it's schemed to get players more opened, but i don't care for hwo he implements the RBs both vs run and pass. that's where i was hoping MM would immensely help Moore, but that hasn't happened.
- i'm not feeling the new OL concept of zone stretch blocking, at least not Joe Philbin's version of it, it's more designed for cut back running and splash plays but
we're among the worst in that area.
- We just won't have the vertical dimension with Dalton, as we did with Dak. that's just Andy's limitations - holding the ball in the pokcet
is another flaw that will sting us with AD.
- i heard similar criticism about MM in Packer land too, and if there's no innovative change up then opposing defenses will adjust and
counter attack offense accordingly. And with no Dak, thats gonna be easier for them, .and i dunno if MM would help matters when it comes to the
passing game.
