Would you trade a 2nd round pick for Quinnen Williams?

Completely agree but see my other posts on him

He is considered a bust by Jet fans in general.

I dont want to deal what's going to likely be a high second on the chance he turns it around.

You're also relying on someone on this staff to fix him.

He hasn't played well. The interest on our end is based entirely on draft position.

Why would the Jets not want to build around him for the same reasons?

They are willing to accept pennies on the dollar for a reason.
Aye....I'm not going to sit here and pretend like I know much about the guy but how can you chalk someone up as a bust just in their 2nd year?

I can't call it with the Jets. I really don't know what they re doing. They gave away Leonard Williams last year as well.

He does only have 4 career sacks. However he had 2 as a rookie, and 2 so far this year

He's a dt, he's not named Aaron Donald, how about how does he play the run, this just in DE's are for the sack, guess you haven't seen our amazing run defense. Cleveland literally had Madden stats vs us, but lets look for a cheer leading cherry picked stat.

We need all out picks. Especially with how high of a pick we can get. We’re at 8. We could be top 5 by years end.

Guarantee we won't be top 5, I will even say likely even not top 10 even with our current situation.

DT's are pass rushers too. Its the primary function in todays NFL of any defensive lineman to pressure the QB

Its possible, but we would likely have to win the division to get out of the top 10. Ultimately I think the Eagles will pull away with it.

Not long ago many, and I mean many fans wanted to get rid of Trysten Hill. We're not talking as in not getting snaps, they want him gone, off the team. For some our fans, new FA/rookie players have 1, maybe game 2 to show ALL Pro potential. If not, their azz is out of here, let's find replacements........:lmao2:Hell, look at MM, he's only 6 games into a 5-year deal and some are already calling for his head.

Hard to take them seriously.......

Why do the Jets want to trade him? As a matter of fact why do the Jets seem to want to get rid of all of their high drafted players.

Excellent question. I see a lot of people assuming something is wrong with the player. Has to be right? Because he was picked highly and they are already willing to part ways. Not so fast. I think this is a case where there is something fundamentally wrong with the franchise and their decision makers.

No team has traded a 2nd rounder......yet. Some team will if they can’t get him cheaper. It will probable a smarter team than the Jets.

I don’t think they want to trade him but if a team offers them a first round pick they will answer the call. The Cowboys would be the perfect sucker team. Tilting between a top 10 pick and first place in the NFC East. The more I think about it we need to lose the next two games.

A 3 and a 6 is maybe highest I'd go.
A 3rd is what I was thinking
Draft picks with the cap situation are increasing in value
Also it appears we will be picking fairly close to the jets ar the top
A 3rd is plenty, though a late end pick for icing is fine
Those first 2 picks need to be ours because we need more than one player can bring

3rd from me also. Our 3rd could be a really high one, so that might do it:thumbup:

Someone on CBS.com is reporting with it may take at least two 2nd round picks. I'd offer 2021 3rd and conditional 2022 3rd. He may cost a little more cause you're getting him for at least 3 more years.

Ok so the 1st and 2nd rnd pick needs to be used on D. So if we trade a 2nd for him we get our defensive pick early. Essentially we have next years 2nd rnd pick NOW. I dont know enough about the guy really

I agree. Those same fans will say good riddance but as soon as they see him get a sack they will rue the loss of him lol. This fanbase did it with Taco, Anthony Hitchens among others.

Cowboy draft picks are gold this year and I wouldn't trade the future away for anything that's happening this season.

Let the season play out with what we have. In fact, the Cowboys should consider trading for picks if teams are interested in a non-starter for a 6th or 7th.

Just putting this right here....

Josh Allen says the Jets' run defense played a role in Buffalo being pass happy early in the game.

well given our history with 2nd round draft picks might as well grab player now use him for 9 games and see if hes the answer, hes got to be better then Hill and we used a 2nd on him.

so why the heck now..YES

caveat is i doubt they let him go for a 2 and im not buyer any higher..
Could be the first pick of the second round the way things are going.
