What if we lose to Washington?

Good idea if you want us to go winless for the rest of the season. Eli was done last season. I am for giving The Nucci a shot. I mean with all this offensive talent covering for Dak Trashscott, the 7th round pick might be rookie of the year.
You Romoholics are a sad bunch. Trashcott? Did you strain your brain trying to think of that?

Dinucci would get more hurt than helped out there. Look at our schedule. Lots of tough teams coming up.

Because he is washed up and sucked for the last several years of his career. Dalton even has a higher regular season win percentage and is already under contract. Why would we want to spend more money for a QB who won’t get better results?
Really? Did you bother to do some homework and compare Eli and Andy's passer rating and QBR from last year?

You should look. You won't like the results because they will prove you wrong.

If they lose to Washington it will be buisness as usual. No one here really cares that much and you can see it every week.

all the excuses are set for the offseason sell job.

all the usual people will be back on the fan and on twitter preaching to us how good this roster is again in March and all these reasons this season went sideways. They will be telling those of us who want real changes to go root for the giants just like they did this past spring.

Dak’s contract will bring the organization all kinds of attention and that is all that matters. Just keep talking about us should be the team shirt the players wear at practice.

It’s raining here today in the DMV, and that terrible field is already a mess. Take the under.

We are going to lose.
But to answer your question, nothing will happen. Nothing will change.
Dumb and dumber will again take to the airwaves to bemoan injuries and talk about how much they like their guys

This might seem crazy, but I would have tried to entice Eli Manning to come out of retirement to play and help save the season. Andy Dalton is good enough to help win a game or two but not the whole season.

The problem is, this is exactly the situation that Eli never excelled in. Eli had his success with a good run game, offensive line, and defense. We have none of those right now. He'll just be throwing pick after pick.

sunday's game will be a test of character for this club. so far, the defense has shown very little. the offense plays hard, but the tattered o-line can only be expected to do so much. i want to see jimmy johnson rants on the sidelines if someone is not playing with the effort expected of the game. coach mac is beginning to look like the biggest coddler of them all.

it's the 2015 season all over again for me at this point

my entertainment for the remainder of the season will come from the game day threads themselves, and hoping for the best possible draft pick

what a waste.

Is this the defining moment of the season? Do we start the fire sale of players? Who will be to blame? Will Jerry fire McCarthy like he did Wade Phillips?

Things have been bad....And I just can't see how anyone can keep the statues quo if we lose. Is it rock bottom?

Comments?

What team and city would you prefer us to lose in?

theres nothing to sell can we get that through some of you fans thick heads... none of our players worth a trade will get a pick worth trading because teams see the Contracts, most of our talent is on IR..how many teams trade for IR players? players with Huge cap hits?

we would basically take cap hit much like buying a brand new car and trying to sell it month later... we would be PAYIG TEAMS TO TAKE OUR PLAYERS AND NOT HAVE DRAFT STOCK TO FILL THE HOLES THEY LEFT///

SO NO,

NO fire sale and coached will NOT get fired. Maybe MM takes over play calling, maybe Nolan gets secret demotion to save face and edwards takes over the defense without public fan fare sort of how Marinelli was demoted but never lost the DC tag as Richard took over the defense..small subtle changes but this staff will be here next season , get used to it, there are far too many reason to nowt bring them back.

ITS SIMPLY ANOTHER PAINFUL LOSS IN PAINFULL YEAR..NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS..

Can we fire sale some of our fan base, id like to i have long list to start the sale..

If we lose to Washington, the NFC East is so rotten that our season is still worth playing.

In any other year, 2-5 would mean it's time to count down until the draft in April. But this year 2-5 is still a legit division contender.

Great. They win the division, then what ? They lose draft position so they can get crushed and embarrassed in a first round playoff game. And don’t get delusional and think they could do anything against a real playoff caliber team. This team has no heart or brains.

Its only for fun now. The season has been over

yup watching backups develop into say OL Swing guys, players like Biadasz getting experience, seeing whos worth keeping on defense as more young get to play etc etc the rest of this year is SEE WHAT happens for the reboot next season.
