Adding Martin to the o-line doesn’t make us average 30+ pts a game

It’s clear the entire offense was Dak.

We went from #1 in pts per game and #1 in yards

To number #32 (last) in pts per game since week 6 and number #32 in yards.

If Jerry doesn’t get fields in the upcoming draft and or Dak walks :facepalm:

I say non-exclusive franchise tag Dak, get draft picks in return, and draft a young QB to help rebuild this team as there is simply too many holes on the OL and defense where Dallas needs as much financial resources as possible.

That said, start the fire sale and ship out players even if it means eating cap hits this year.

Honestly. We need to rebuild. Might be best to let Dak walk. I don’t want him to. But we may have no other choice.
The only way we can rebuild is if we get a franchise Quarterback with a top pick. No veteran or low round pick is likely going to cut it

Dalton throughout his career had a passer rating equal to that of Matthew Stafford and he looks like a complete rookie since he’s come to Dallas

Kellen Moore, Jason Garret, and Linneyan may be the worst offensive coordinators to be in the league. If you don’t have a great (not just GOOD) quarterback like Dak, Romo, etc.

it’s hopeless to overcome this coaching

You dont let him walk, you tag him and trade him if you are going in another direction.

You arent gonna get a mega off, but you can still gey a first for him. QB's are that valuable

I was thinking that same exact thing during this game.

The best thing may be to just let Dak walk and draft a QB with our top 3 pick most likely.
Personally Id rather go with the sure thing, and sell that pick. Even Fields should net us muliple first rounders ala Wentz

Keeping dak is the key to rebuilding this defense
Then use your very high pick on defense

Why? QB is the most important position in the NFL. You have a good one, why let him walk? This thought process makes no sense to me.

Well first off, he doesn’t deserve to play for this rotten *** team. We wasted Romo. I’d hate to waste Dak.

2nd, we need to rebuild. I understand wanting to keep and pay him, but we need a massive overhaul. Offensive line, even when some of the players return, will be a shell of itself. Zeke is washed. Pollard isn’t a RB1. The WR’s are good but, we don’t need 5 (including Brown and Wilson). Defense is horrendous there’s no positives on that side of the ball. We need to start trading effectively immediately. We need to pull a Miami. They’re not great yet, but they got potential.

blow it all up.

The offensive line just got too old too fast for us to really do a lot about it. You can't sign OLinemen to long term deals because they break down so fast.

Get Smith, Martin, Collins and Looney back. Draft DT, S, LB, OT, CB. Repeat as much as we can in FA.

I'm not sure it matters if you have Mike Nolan calling your defense. He has to be fired first. I don't get how we go from having so much look promising a couple years ago on defense to having those same guys look clueless. OL needs to be the first draft pick next year though. If we don't address the OL we are screwed for a long time.

We need to rebuild the defense. Lerting Dak go (who had the #1 offense) will just make the so called rebuild much tougher.

Give him a nonexclusive franchise tag. The Saints can sign him and give us 2 first rounders. The Saints signed an injured Drew Brees to a big contract so they won't be scared off by Dak's injury.

We have most of our online still young players
Biadasz looks like a keeper to me, Collins was just signed and is young, Martin has many good years left
Hopefully McKnight can develop into a solid starter
This draft is loaded at OT but to me DT and DB is our biggest needs by far
