I love McCarthy’s quotes

“We have to clean that up”
“I thought they played hard”
“We prepared well all week!”
“That’s on me. We will get better”
Wonder when all that is going to actually start happening!

it's almost like our players think at any moment this season will be canceled.
they start the game like they can't wait til halftime.
and come out the 2nd half and cant wait to get the hell out of there.
atleast DLaw,Jaylon,LVE,Aldon Smith and Diggs try.
they maybe wrong but atleast they try to do something.
what the hell is poe doing?
or everson griffen?
and i wanted everson griffen.
but where the hell is he?
i've defended crawford.
thought he was a versatile player.
leader.
tough.
too pricey but servicable.
where the hell is he?
why are DLaw and Aldon Smith the only ones trying to do something even if its wrong.
Gallimore and Hamilton should never be taken off the field.
we cant fire the owner.
and i dont really want mccarthy fired because why would urban meyer or nick saban or jim harbaugh come here with this f/o.
mccarthy and these players have got to find a way to make this work.
we can not be this bad.
but we are.

Exactly, we have to make something work, and we need Dak back next year. I am not saying that the QB is to blame for today's game, nor did I see much of it. However, what I can say is that this team seems to play like they're without their leader. Like a wolf pack without the pack leader. They look unresponsive and, like you said, like they want to be off the field as soon as possible. They need a leader, and Dak was that leader. I wonder when Dak will be healthy enough to at least be on the sideline. At least sit on the bench and be there to rally the troops or sit in the booth.

they do. The front office drafted essentially everyone Garrett wanted for 9 years. It was different with wade because he was hands off. A staff that wants to be hands-on, like this current one will get the players they want on draft day because the Jones's are dummies without a plan and can be talked into anything.

A hands off coach like campo and wade watched the jones's do whatever but parcells and garrett were getting the players they wanted on draft day.

yes I know the various dumb ware stories.

I would say a new low but there will be worse beat down’s ahead, the OL and QB positions are decimated with an absolutely lousy defense, true recipe for season disaster.

And we have the Eagles in Philly on Sunday night. I'd imagine that Pederson is going to have them fired up to feast on us while we're down. I'd imagine that'll probably be worse, but they don't have much in the way at WR.

As good as this sounds it will never happen unfortunately

I know it won't either. The correct time to start the rebuild was five minutes after they walked off the field in LA. That was as far as this talent and coaching staff could get. repeated tries the same way for 5 years and it was time to start over.

They didn't. Instead they fired the offensive staff and promoted a guy not qualified to OC. then they stuck Garrett as a lame duck coach and basically asked for trouble. Then they scapegoated Garrett as the root of the problem.

Now we are going to be two years behind the rebuild and they are about to give a high percentage of the salary cap to a QB who isn't a difference maker in the win column.

anyway, it doesn't matter. All of us have been fans for decades and we know nothing will change. There really is no need to even discuss this anymore honestly. We all know the situation.

Go to bed, Mike. A war room run by the coaches is a terrible idea.

Same here. Or even if he has to sit in a wheelchair or something. Some way for him to be in the building with the team. Remind the team who they need to be fighting for.
