I didn't even watch the 2nd half. I found better things to do. I probably won't watch much of the Philly game either. They will get smoked, especially with the 3rd string QB now playing. Why waste a perfectly good evening on that?
i am pretty much done watching for the resto of the season

It's tough to get mad, at least for me. This level of awful is something to behold! It's almost impressive to watch after hearing ownership go on about their talent just hours before kickoff.

This. The team being horrible doesn't make me mad. What makes me mad is when we're a good team and barely losing games.

If they're gonna be bad, at least they're BAD.

That. And that the poor quality on this roster being disguised by gaudy offensive numbers because your offense suddenly becomes dangerous once they're down 21 points sort of makes me crazy. Some say it was entertaining. Still, it's bad football.

Spare me the aesthetics. Be bold and commit to it!

Why get mad over things you can't control? Earliest in the season I've bailed from a game in a long time. Expecting my Sundays to be free again
Fishing, fishing and more fishing and maybe take my cur on a couple afternoon squirrel hunts if it’s too cold to go fishing!

..Glimmer, the Cabo culture is taking its toll again. Everyone getting paid, no one playing up to it. Could be coaching as well. *shrugs shoulders* ..dont know anymore.

I’m in the same boat. Been a Cowboys’ fan just as long and I’ve seen some really bad teams, but this one might take the cake.

But what really depresses me is that there isn’t much hope. We have a quarterback who, coming off an injury, is going to need $40M per year or about 25% of next year’s cap. They overpaid for a washed up running back and a linebacker who looks lost. The offensive line needs to be rebuild, the defensive line too.

Then there is the coaching, who will get a pass from Jerry Jones because of COVID. 5 minutes left in the game, down by three touchdowns and he’s running the ball. What kind of sign is that giving to your team if you’re not going to even try?

So I’m right there with you OP. This is rock bottom for our Cowboys. They’re not only a terrible team, but they won’t be good for years.

The very best thing that could happen right now is that the team goes 4-12, drafts a stud QB, and blows this team up. Don’t sign Dak - all he will so is lift a bad team to 8-8 for the next 5 years and hamstring our ability to sign other players. Trade everyone who is tradable. Start over.
This whole thing is screwed up.

It's pretty bleak sitting there feeling conflicted about scoring a touchdown. The game is already lost, you instinctively want to see your team improve, but you know if you show signs of life, your idiotic owner will be more likely to think we're all good.

I'm not so mad at the players, but I need to see something from the coaches at this point. This is the time where you'd had enough games to see who is clearly holding us back and needs to be benched or cut right now. Not after week 17, not 5 weeks later, NOW.

i've said this before.
Coach Landry's last team that went 3-13 had more fight and was more competitive than this bunch.

This is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. We let teams do things to us that just hurts. We just act like we have no clue. I don’t want to hear we are learning a new scheme. There are only so many things you can do on Defense. It’s not rocket surgery. They cover no one and tackle no one. Like they are afraid of being hurt.

I know Dak being gone means we won’t win a SB. And watching this team without him let’s us know we need him. And we also have none of our starting O-Line. It’s almost like it’s fake. Players just don’t want to play this year.

Is it a lost season, so why try.

Does players have any pride. I know it’s a job to them but for us we look forward to it all off season. We buy the gear and the stuff and this is what we get.

Right now I hate this team. I have been a fan for 45 years and last week I turned it off at halftime for the first time in my life. I made it till 3 minutes left in this game because I wanted to see The Nooch.. lol. He came out and made a actual pass and then our O-Line allows him to do nothing else.

I would love to just see one play. Or one player to stand out and keep me loving this team. Somebody do some thing to show me you care as much as me.

I just watched the end of this and it showed our players on the bench shaking there heads and the others team smiling and having a good time. That team sucks.

Ya know guys. Unfortunately i don’t have a lot of money. I save my money and call Directv every year and complain to get a discount so I can watch every game. And what they have put on the field is so actual embarrassing that I can’t believe it.

They are ok with this because tomorrow they will likely get a direct deposit check right into there account. They are going to get paid for what they just did out there. These players are ok with what they just did. I am utterly in disbelief.
How did you not see this coming? It’s disgusting seeing all these, “Cowboys til I die” dudes who jump on anyone who brings any criticism on the team. Those are the fans I blame for lining Jerry’s pockets every year. We aren’t a football team. Jerry doesn’t know football or leadership. Last week all the guys, “we will win the East.” Lol. We are trash.

I’m not mad, just disappointed that we have to wait until next year to have competitive football. Realistically we knew going into this year we needed to rely on your offense to win this year (team 40 burger). Since the start of the season we lost 6 offensive starters, not to mention a couple of there backups. Unfortunately the season is a loss. It’s just disappointing that there is over 2 months left in season and it basically over. I’m a diehard so I will watch every minute of every game but it’s going to be terrible. I really can’t see them winning another game. It’s a terrible feeling when in October your already thinking about the next season.

Looking at the defense realistically, meaning salary cap implications we need to at least 5 new starters. At DT, I’m hoping Gallimore shows something so he can be a rotational piece but we still need at least two additions that can stop the run and get some pressure up front. This is why I wouldn’t be against trading the 2nd rounder for Quinnen Williams. DE For next year are Lawrence, Gregory, Armstrong and Anae - not sure how to improve in this position with no cap space or unbelievable talent in the draft. Unfortunately we might be stuck with the linebacker we have. Jaylon Smith is one of the most frustrating players I’ve seen in a lone time but can’t cut him because it’s 9 million cap hit and no one will want to trade for him. Have to hope LVE improves and stayed healthy. CBs going in to next year will be Brown, Diggs and I wouldn’t mind a cheap contract for Chido. Don’t think we have a starting safety on the roster.

My ideal situation would be we get the 2nd pick and auction it off to the highest bidder looking for a QB (Probably Fields). Not going to get Lawrence - jets won’t win a game. Maybe get an established starter in the trade, then load up in the draft. Like I said it sucks writing and thinking this but what else is there really to get excited about Then next season.

This is a tear down to the studs. The owner and front office are cancerous. The coaching staff is clueless and over matched. Finally the players are over paid, over rated, and dont care. Things will never change under Jones ownership.
