Another question is, who can we cut for the rebuild? Start with Jaylon, Poe and coaches.

I think trading Michael Gallup for a first round pick is a realistic trade idea. The Ravens are all in on a Super Bowl run and they are so desperate for a big play wide receiver, they put Dez on their practice squad. I got sick to my stomach this morning when some former Jet GM says the Cowboys should trade draft picks for Tribisky or Fitzpatrick. Yuck!!!!!

Do you guys have any other ideas?

I watched two teams last night that could REALLY use a DE. Seattle and Arizona cant get pressure at all.

I would look to trade both Aldon Smith and Griffin and try to get a 5th or 4th? Get whatever you can.

They should try to resign Gallup at something reasonable first.

Sadly, all these big contracts we just signed we cant get out of for another year.

If someone would take LVE, get rid of him. Trade anyone in the secondary NOT Diggs.

Why on earth would we trade Gallup? I don't get why people keep saying this.

There's nobody they'll get for him that makes the team better than keeping him.

If you were New England or baltimore which receiver would you want? I'd trade cooper if we can but I don't think we can. I'd rather take Gallup than let him walk.

I looked yesterday, and basically everyone is untradable due to their contract or their worth, outside of 1-2 players. No one is trading a first for Gallup.

Kudos to you for actually taking the time and effort.

Most everyone else just barks out stuff with no research behind it and no realistic chance of it happening.

You don’t know that. This is why trades are made. Trading Gallup to say, the Packers or Ravens, could potentially produce a draft pick that solidified the linebacking corp, secondary, or OL and make us a better overall team at the expense of making us less talented at one position where we are very deep in talent. Granted, the price has to be right.

would you pay a first round pick for a player under contract for 9 more games? that's not realistic. that's Madden NFL

I think this $5 Billion conglomerate should make an organizational change first before team changes. Like get a real GM.

Then that GM can get a personnel professional if that GM is not it themselves.

Then they can go get a HC who can hire a coaching staff.

Then cut/release players that don't fit the culture, mental/physical and talent make up they require to foster their team.

Then draft and pick up players in FA that furthermore add to the teams philosophy and schemes.

You know, how teams that win Championships do the last 20 years?

NE, Pitts, Bal. KC on the up and up doing this lastly.

The only trade value this team has is draft picks and Jerry will be a fool to trade those off since it is looking like Dallas will be drafting top 5 of each round.

What would it tell you/convince you if every player that was cut/traded/released performed better somewhere else?

Don't think Gallup nets a 1st rounder, but a 2nd is certainly realistic and I would pull the trigger in a heartbeat.

We have WR depth... we have no depth anywhere else.

If a team offers a first for Gallup then you take it and run before their GM is fired on the spot.

Gallup is only cheap for one more season. Then he gets paid either here or elsewhere.
True but you will likely get a 3rd round comp pick if he departs. So that’s where the floor is.
