Everybody who trotted out that narrative needs to lose their posting privileges for two weeks. Dalton is getting worse as time wears on not better. He was good against the Giants, terrible against the Cardinals and just plain pathetic against the Football Team. At this rate he'll need to pay the Cowboys for the right to play. I was hopeful that he would get it together as time wore on but clearly this dude is washed. May as well start the kid the rest of the way. He can't be any worse than what we're seeing out of Dalton. I cannot think of a single reason to watch this team the rest of this season.. and this comes from a guy who hasn't missed a game in 30 years. I might watch one more game.. just to see if MAYBE Sean Lee and Chido can add something to this dumpster fire of a defense.. But since neither of them plays d-line, I doubt they can provide much. At least not in the area of most need.

Sigh!
Dak might have put up better numbers and made the games closer (at least in the 4th quarter). But the end results are the same.

Is there really any difference between losing pretty or losing ugly?

At least you’re humble enough to admit you know nothing about football and have been consistently wrong about Dak.

On topic: hopefully we tag him and can get two firsts for him. Cowboys need to blow it up, get fields, hire simmer, and draft defense with every single other pick
I'm humble enough to admit I was wrong on this. All this IG 304 babble after that you're posting nah. I still feel the same way about Dak. He is an average QB that doesn't do good against playoff teams most of,the time. I just underestimated how done Dalton was. If you knew soooo much about football you'd be getting paid for it and not on here with the alleged know nothing's like myself.

As far as on topic it doesn't matter what they do. They keep Dak we are destined to be picking in the middle of the 1st for the foreseeable future and if they don't who knows what happens. I take option 2 obviously. It is really that simple.

Yep, you should ban everybody.

But just remember, this board welcomed a lot of posters from other boards and the guys who have been here for many, many years, not just a couple, never once talked about banning folks. Maybe you guys should shut your pie holes and understand that all this talk of banning people isn't your call.

Some people want to lose pretty to justify their pov. If Dak could play for 4 qtrs like he does when the team down 2/3 scores in the 4th I don't think anybody would question him being paid. It seems like some don't seem to notice that strange thing about his play esp against better teams.

Who??? Call them out, because I cant remember anyone saying Dalton was better than Dak, other than the Usual Troll Suspects.

Stick around.. they'll out themselves.. But hell Isaiah Stanback (ex Cowboy/Giant/Patriot/Seahawk) who works for DallasCowboys.com was one of them.. And some genius posted his quote in support of his own anti-Dak bias. Needless to say, neither take has aged well.

The Cowboys were horrible before Dak (4-12 in 2015) and are horrible now without him (winless).

It’s obvious Dak has been carrying the team for the past 4 years and covering for some really bad coaching and weak supporting cast.

We don’t need Trevor Lawrence, who will be a downgrade from Dak. That high pick must be spent where it can fill holes.

We should completely rebuild the entire defense, OL, and coaching staff.
Carrying us to what?

Boom and anther ignore you low class bum.
I rarely do the ignore but I can see how some do esp when certain folks stay with this no proof lazy accusations that if you don't like Dak its some other "reason" for it. That online laziness is sad and shows what kinda inferiority complex some have smh.

You mean like his 472 yard 3 TD performance against that 5-1 team in Seattle? That better team? Or maybe the 502 yard 4 TD performance against the 5-2 Clevelands? Those were the two best teams Dak played against this year.. He put up 974 yards 7 TDs and 3 INTs against them. But yeah.. he needed to step it up. Pay no attention to that defense giving up 87 points in those two games behind the curtain.

Fair point, although McFadden was the #1 RB most of the year, and actually did surprisingly well. But none of it matters without someone blocking. Of course, none of that really matters because all we are talking about is different degrees of the team and the QB sucking. The primary point is the team sucks, and the QB isn't able to do anything to prevent that.

Of course the defense also doesn't help because they allow so many points the opposing teams know the Cowboys have to pass to keep up, and then they can just t-off on the pass rush.

Hell, just simplify the whole conversation and call it a fuster cluck.
Yeah, McFadden was #1 most of the year but he became #1 RB when Cassel took over at QB. Weeden had Randle for his 3 starts being primary RB.

True, but he also had TWill as the #1 receiver and Randle as RB1. We still have Zeke and 3 great receivers.
Williams ran routes like he was drunk on a scooter and Randle had sticky fingers.

I never said he was better, I said Dak wasnt worth paying a huge contract. I still stand by that, we still were losing. And Its not like they're even giving Dalton a fair hand, Zeke is completely uninterested, Coopers comments, and an Oline that doesnt give a hoot about him.

Some of you are spending too much time creating nonsense threads aimed at maybe 1% of the population.
Whether it is on this subject or other subjects in general wink wink lol you didn't know that's what people do nowadays? Just talk their echo chamber talk and then label those who don't agree all types of names. That's how the discourse is nowadays on a lot of topics. I definitely agree because those that were saying the words in OP are few and far between. I said I thought it wouldn't be much different results wise but better nah.
