Is anyone opposed to trading Zeke?

Anybody out there?

It turns out that paying RBs is as stupid as everyone said it was.

Anyways..

Do we have any use for this “luxury” going forward?

I know he is a face of the franchise but we need that money to fix the defense. He’s very replaceable and I don’t see this team competing until 2022 at best anyways.
He can't be traded because:
1) He isn't worth the contract he has
2) The cap hit would be incredible
3) RB's aren't valued
Dallas is "stuck" with him and the salary burden for 2 more years minimum

does anyone see the OL is 3rd string its not just Moore but i agree Moore is Zeke downfall but the last 3 games the Ol is not just in shambles if they cant protect the qb you think holes are being opened..its over dude to the OL and dak being gone..

trying to find reasons to trade players with no return but dead money its insane..next year new season reboot..

Yea OL doesn't help at all but even when they've played decent, Zeke still looks....off. No burst or anything....idk what it is

Abqcowboy and I argued with a lot of posters about signing Zeke..
One of the things that upset me most is the leverage Jerry had and he still kinda gave him what he wanted.
Whatever.. A lot of people on this forum wanted that Zeke deal.. They got it..
I think he is still a great player but right now he is not good and he’s a luxury we can no longer afford..
A bad team doesn’t pay their RB that kind of money..

110% agree, @CATCH17 ... I was right there with you. Jerry had all the leverage, but the problem is that he didn't realize it. In his mind, the 2019 team had Super Bowl aspirations and he didn't want to lose Zeke and put them at risk. Bad move, it wasn't a Super Bowl team, not even close, and he caved on every. single. thing. that Zeke wanted.

When people complain about Jerry as a GM, these are the things that bother us. It's not the draft, I think they've done remarkably well in the draft. It's the contracts he is signing and the free agent moves he has made.

Don’t think we can get much for him, that contract will be a turn off for most

we will get nothing even if we asked...and, you don't trade him at his lowest value point as a Cowboy

1. False.

2. Not applicable . We aren’t trading him.

3. No RB, no running game.
